Hi Elisabeth - re annotated versions of Jane Austen. Not sure if you came across the ones by David M. Shapard. He’s done all 6 of the major Jane Austen novels. I’ve read the Pride and Prejudice & am currently reading the Emma one. I think they are quite good. Available in paperback & also I think in e-book format. I know Indigo Chapters carries them. Anyways thought I would mention them to you in case you’d not seen them. Not sure they are as pretty as the hardback one you have but they do have illustrations etc. Best wishes,
I was going to mention these from Indigo as well. I bought "Emma" a while ago and remember seeing "Mansfield Park". Looking forward to reading it. Hopefully she'll find a copy she enjoys.
@@cherylbell1253 It’s good to know they exist, thank you! I’ll keep that in mind for next year (which may finally be the year of rereading Mansfield Park).
Ebay has several used copies of an annotated edition of Mansfield Park (annotated by Deidre Shauna Lynch) published by Harvard University Press in 2016, so apparently from the same series.
That annotated Sense and Sensibility is just gorgeous. I’m going with Mansfield Park for Jane Austen July. Fabulous tbr. Enjoy your reading 😊
@@RaynorReadsStuff I’ve started to read it and the notes are very interesting. It brings a lot of the subtext to the surface.
I absolutely love your videos!
@@bethsbookishreviews9374 Thank you so much! 😊
Amazon U.S. has the hardcover annotated editions of all Jane Austen's novels except Mansfield Park. Thank you for making such great videos!
@@lihayes5046 I’ll need to find an address in the U.S! 😂

@@dorothysatterfield3699 Ooh, that is great to know! Thank you!
I enjoyed the first book by Claudia Gray. However, I could not get into the second one, so it was a DNF for me.
@@jorgem71962 I agree the second is not as good as the first…
