- Welcome to the Carnival Venezia Vlog series!!
We sailed the Venezia early September, but I am finally just getting the series out now.
You will see me to a brief (emotional) intro explaining how our lives changed dramatically when I was about to edit this series.
After my explanation, we get into the fun! Even though it was a chaotic day, it was still a fun filled day! After we get the parents comfortable, we check out this amazing ship, listened to some music and enjoy the festivities aboard the ship. So come along!!
On this cruise we sail with our friends Rob & Favor from @LifeWithFavor , Paul & Cindy from @HighSeasFriendsTravel & Cristin & Brian on an eight day cruise that was originally going to San Juan, St. Thomas and Grand Turk. But Hurricane Lee had a different idea.... due to the hurricane we are now going to Princess Cay, Nassau & Freeport. Despite the itinerary change, we had the best weather and an absolute blast!

I just stumbled upon your video as I'm researching our next cruise. I'm so so sorry about the loss of your mom! That's so heartbreaking. I'm glad for you that you got to spend one last vacation with her though. I'm so sorry! I recently went through something similar. My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer 12/2023. It was of course a shock and he declined very quickly and was in the hospital the whole time from diagnosis until he passed a couple days before Christmas. I'm in FL and my family is in NY. I waited too long...by the time I flew up there, he was already intubated and passed the following evening. Life sure throws us curveballs! I pray for your peace and comfort. 😔
I am so sorry to hear about your father 😢 Life can definitely throw some curve balls at you. We are 16 days away from another cruise, and we are definitely going to enjoy every single moment of it! I am sorry for your loss, and I fully understand using this vlog as memories with the family. We will be on this ship in December after it repositions to Port Canaveral for a NYE cruise. Any tips?
Thank you so much! 🩷As for tips, if you want something to eat on embarkation day and go where it's not crowded. Head on to deck 5 to La Strada Grill. It's outside by the Gondola Lounge (Ocean Plaza). Great food and not busy at all!

I did have to call ahead to Carnival Special services months prior to the sailing.
