I love my D05.
And the free software controller/editor is fabulous.
Has the internal menus in some sheet in a window..
or the virtual PG1000 like the original made by Roland.
You can send or receive a single patch or an entire bank.
You can request the parameters of the synth..
for a sliders view in PG1000..
or a sheets view in window.
Better of this...✌🏻😜

Thanks for the presentation. The D-50 is my 2nd favorite synth of all time behind the DX7. Can't understand why the D-05 was discontinued by Roland.

Because who has a D50 with a poly sequencer..
in a little box battery powered..
is a lucky owner..✌🏻😜
In the future this model and many others..will be expensive in the used market..
when the original synth will cost like a car.

Still have no idea why Roland doesn’t expand on the linear arithmetic synthesis approach for any of their new synths.

EverettDudgeon138 I agree 100% , It’s amazing how little processing and memory they used to create huge sounds . The D50 patches in the newer gear does not hold up.
