They were out lawed because the toys were just loose in the chocolate and kids choked on them. Now that the toys are in a plastic egg that is covered in chocolate they are no longer outlawed. I live in America and have seen kindereggs in a few shops.

Kinder eggs had the best toys in the 90s. I've still got a lot of the classic cars and animals. I'm pretty sure I've got a tin full of others as well, but I haven't seen it since I moved 🤔
