@@ganeshvanarasi2479 suppose you bought 10000₹ Abc company shares in your demat account 1 month before and present you know that stock will fall for bad quarterly results or else some bad news speculation . As you said we can sell our stocks for loss and we can gain some profit in futures . But if in case with in a week we got some news from Abc company after market hours that 50 crores deal with some foreign investors now the stock touches uperr circuit for 2- 3 days on opening market hours. In that case if hold 10000shares without out square at bad quarterly results of time or some bad news speculations , now you can earn more profit than your F&O profit.

@@jagadeeshb4479 Thanks for replying brother...hdfc bank split on 22/5/19 from face value 2 to 1 and stock price came down to half suppose 1000..... suppose I buy hdfc bank fut on 13/5/19 just before 10 days split.....then on 22/5/19 after split what will be my position in future......my fut buy price is 2001 when stock price is 2000....but now after split stock price is 1000....in that case what is the fate of my fut holding....will I will be in loss or any other adjustment takes place ?
