Big thing missed is mark Andrew returning at 100%. Mitchell will return probably mid season. The o-line should be better. I'd like see them as another vet to the line and another WR vet tht will probably happen during the cuts before final roster period
I'd sit Mitchell until last 2 or three games of the season. How many players do we have to see get re injured coming back too soon?
We dont need mark Andrew tho Lamar always play better with out him.
Don’t need to rush Mitchell back at all with Derrick Henry and their draft pick Ali. I would say watch out from Trenton Simpson to have a breakout year at linebacker, especially with the departure of Patrick Queen

@@williejohnson5172 Yeah I'd guess it could take that long before he feels well enough to play. It's usually a 9 to 12 month recovery from an ACL tear so he very well might not even be ready until December.
We just got youger with speedy corners and youth. We have increased in speed all over the field. Trenton Simpson is gonna fill in seamlessly. Derrick Henry wirh Lamar next to him is gonna be a problem, who are you focusing on . Zay and Bateman running routes across the middle and likley and Andrew's getting open . I like it 👌

At cornerback you didn’t mention Brandon Stevens. Eric DeCosta said that Brandon Stevens was a lockdown corner last year. And watch Travis Jones breakout on the defensive line. Nobody’s talking about him. He’ll be in year three as will Broderick Washington.

we are definitely way better than last year. we basically won last year too, the refs just robbed us. it’s game over this year, no matter how stupid the play calls are, no matter how blind the refs, we won. our team is so good that if we make afc championship then we might as well get our ring.

Man I’m diehard af but y’all buggin if you think the refs took that from us. We made some bonehead plays that gave the game away. Plain and simple. We should have dog walked them at the bank and then brought the trophy home for sure. But we missed the mark. We still hungry tho. Back this year with a vengeance.

when the first 14 picks of the draft were offensive players I was thinking "oh the Ravens are gonna get a stud on Defense to slide down to them, and there was Nate Wiggins at #30 and the yearly "how did he fall to the Ravens?" was complete.
I think justice hill will be an X factor. He’s a great catcher out the backfield and was getting really comfortable in T-mo’s offense

We lost 3 oline guys we have 2 new guys taking there place in Voorhees and Rosegarden , we lost safety stone replace him with round 7 safety, we lost clowney and replaced him in round 3 , lost obj replaced him in round 4. Added 2 top rookies at CB , and then there's Queen who wasn't good untill Smith got there an we replace him with Simon's who can be good = to queen
Stone isnt much of a loss... He caused a handful of guys to not get ints due to him flying in like a maniac trying to pad his stats. Once he went on his little 3 game run dude was playing selfish ball. Glad he is gone

Humphrey didn't have 13 sacks last year unless I'm tweaking and can't remember him getting as many as madibuke I don't even think he had 1

Humphrey is a great big play db but Brandon Stephens is the better corner overall. Stephens is quietly one of the best corners in the league.
They need to resign Stephens this season
I don’t think Humphrey is a big play corner. He’s a physical and versatile defender but I think at this stage in his career, he’s better off in the slot putting his hands on smaller, shiftier receivers. All receivers on the outside gives him problems but he is a great tackler. Very rarely does he play the ball
@@jamaljones31 …..he’s good against big physical wrs but not against quick footed wrs. Slot would b dope for him a put the rookie an Stephens on the outside but marlon cost to much for that. If he takes a home town discount nex yr or after that it would b kool but doubt that
@@jamaljones31 Most of the big plays over his career have been forced fumbles, recovered fumbles or just being around the ball. My only point was that Stephens is the better cover corner and the better overall corner at this point in Humphrey's career. He did play the nickel quite well at one point early in his career but I'm not positive he'd be better at it than Mallet now. Bottom line, if these new kids are as good as people say they are, Marlon Humphrey might find himself competing for playing time.

I'm never worried about the Ravens making the post season as long as they have a healthy Lamar. But they lack that playoff intensity. They lack that killer instinct. Kyle and Zay came ready to play against the Chiefs. Everybody else , including Lamar and Monken, was somewhere else.

I hope we’re good enough to where garbaugh can’t stop us but I feel u.
No. We will not be as good as last year. To have the best defense in the league you need the talent AND the coaching. The most important defensive coaches left Baltimore this offseason. We also lost 3 key players on the defensive side of the ball in Clowney, Queen and Stone and we did draft some good rookies but they’ll most likely not replicate a veterans output in year one. We also lost 3 starting O-linemen and we’re replacing them with rookies/2nd year players/backups. That’s bound for regression. And most importantly we can expect a regression from Lamar simply because putting up back to back MVP campaigns is so difficult. Hell still be eilte but probably a bit worse than this season. All of this makes it quite obvious that we’re gonna be worse this season. But we shouldn’t be disappointed because of it. The Lamar regression is normal and we should appreciate the year he just had. Letting the players go in free agency and replacing them with a strong rookie class and some previous draft picks was the right decision when looking at the long term strength of this roster. We should simply appreciate the great year we just had and be happy that EDC and Harbaugh keep making the right long term decisions which paired with an elite QB should mean plenty of playoff appearances are coming in the next years.

You’re so unbelievably wrong. Harbs is the reason for the ravens consistency. He’s the reason the Ravens are one of the very few teams in the nfl who actually have a culture & uniqueness.
Harbs sets the tone & upholds the standard for what it means to play like a Raven. The players understand that putting that purple jersey on actually means something. That shit MATTERS to Harbaugh. Harbs allows the players to be themselves yet also hold them to a standard, he does exactly what we need him to do & nobody could do it better.
