- Eric Myers (Quantum Ranger) enters the Grid as the second Season 2 pass character!
Season 2 features three new fan favorite warriors (Anubis "Doggie" Cruger, Eric Myers, and Dai Shi), new arena (Space Patrol Delta base), new ultra (Delta Squad Megazord), and a new character skin (Tommy Oliver / Mighty Morphin Power Rangers White Ranger).
The new arena and new ultra are free to download now. The remaining three new warriors and character skin can be purchased as part of Season 2 Pass for $14.99 across PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC. Each individual character can also be purchased separately for $5.99.

Dan Southworth sounded like he's having so much fun voicing the Quantum Ranger. And he's putting his Vergil attitude into it which makes his character even more kickass. Also, now I want a Power Rangers Vs Capcom game. Oh, I think you know why.

DMC references aside, there's some cool Time Force ones, such as ducking the Magna Defender's Super like he did in his debut fight in Time Force, as well as saying his line from that fight "I'm not just any ranger, not by a long shot".
Also his victory pose is what he does in his first fight when he activates freeze strike mode.
I love how Daniel Southworth reprised his role as the Quantum Ranger but still has a Vergil vibe

That would be me. But I'm caught up now. I only know Dan from Power Rangers Time Force, I always thought he was cool. But for DMC fans, this should be a real treat.

@ZarkZyrian The specific "I need more (quantum) power" is a line Vergil's known for. Was a memorable line in DMC3 and further immortalized as one of the quotes for Vergil activating Devil Trigger in MvC3, a game where he's one of the best characters for competitive play. "Foolishness, Lord Zedd" is also a play on the iconic "Foolishness, Dante" that Vergil says after stabbing Dante through the chest with Dante's own sword (not a spoiler, it's in the opening cutscene without the voice.) Apparently he also says "I'm motivated" upon tagging in, which is also a reference to a Vergil line from DMC3 (he has a chance to say it when you damage him a lot during his boss fights) and again MvC3 (another line he can say when activating Devil Trigger.)

You can also see during Quantum Power Mode he uses Vergil's signature moves such as Drive, Rapid Slash, and Stinger. We're all convinced that Vergil misses his glory days in UMVC3 and went on to Power Rangers to relive those days.
This Quantum Ranger is a love letter to Devil May Cry and Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3 fans and I love it.

Don't play the story mode. It's a borderline rage game.
@Pro Token420 Seriously. The final fight has you with 3 health bars and Drakkon with 5. Also, fighting the white Mystic ranger is such a pain. She does the same unblockable move over and over. And the story mode isn't that great anyway. Nothing feels accomplished. Also, when your fighting and the game interrupts with dialogue text, it throws off your combo and gives your opponent an advantage. Not to mention, you can play as Jen in story mode but you have to pay extra to play as her for versus and online mode.
