This man is ageless. He looks exactly the same when I was a kid. I strive to be like my Sensei
Those breathing exercises are important. Getting the movements correct is what makes him a master. This brought me to tears the arts saved this man's People don't understand the significance of that.
Osu!!!
BLACK.......MAN.
Who’s the master? Sho nuff!
Total respect for my brother. ONE!
It makes my heart so happy to see Westerners keeping traditional martial arts alive. 👍
Beautiful
That is called respect !
I love this Kata
Outstanding....Oss!
Respect
А это что?
what do you call this Kata?
excuse me, but what the heck kind of Kata is that suppose to be? and is what he doing really Goju Ryu?
Most kata in this video are specific of American Goju. Not all, but most Okinawan goju kaiha have only twelve kata (gekisai dai ichi, gekisai dai ni, seyunchin, saifa, sanseru, shisochin, kururunfa, seipai, suparimpei, seisan, sanchin and tensho). Check kata from these schools to compare: Jundokan (founder Miyazato sensei), IOGKF (founder Higaonna sensei), Meibukan (founder Yagi sensei).
What?!
Beautiful kata.
@@malasangre6700 I was a student of Sensei McGee and we definitely practiced the raditional kata you mentioned in your post.
As someone else posted other Kata we learned came from American Goju. Peter Urban taught sensei Mcgees master Leon Wallace who taught him.
@@TheSubwaysurfer that's what I thought. However, Peter Urban not just created their own kata, he also introduced extensive changes in gojukai kata he learned in Japan. He did not studied with traditional Okinawan sensei.
this is Will Allen, Tiger man..., you looking gr8 bruh, luv it...!
A real master ouss!!!
Ous....
@@shellyad100 Ous!!
I'm not hating... But I've never seen a kata perform like that... Look like he was incorporating Chinese crane and praying mantis into a Japanese kata... Just didn't look authentic to me... Ijs
Goju in corporates White Crane in it. Okinawan Karate looks different then Japanese Karate
@@peaceson14303 you are right. It's also right that it doesn't look authentic Okinawan kata.
The birth place of all karate comes from white crane, For example in Ni Pai Po their is a crane stance, and the funny thing is all karate that comes from Okinawa look so similar because the masters that where taught made a couple changes to make a difference in the styles of karate.
You're assessment is accurate because GOJU Karate is a mix of these two 1. Hard (GO) Style of Okinawa Japan with the 2 SOFT (JU) technique from China. I trained under Sensei Sam Mchee from 1986 through 1992. The lessons and experiences ive had there have served me the greater part of my life.
What's so grand about that he would not last a round in MMA
