These are all mixed up timeline wise because I was too lazy to put them in order lol. But the point is to demonstrate how their lyrics lock together like a puzzle over several YEARS. Their lyrics show two sides of the same coin. They're writing about each other before, during, and after their fallout in 2015. But their most recent lyrical connections illustrate they are back in touch and keeping it from the public and media and are more in love than ever; only struggling to be apart so often and needing to keep up relationships with models for publicity. Harry was singing to Zayn at MSG. That's why he chose to sing Still The One only at his NYC show (where Zayn lives) and only on the night when Zayn was suspected to have attended and was dressed like the mysterious man in the VIP box. Harry removed Zayn's rose ring (that he was wearing everyday at the time) for one day after this performance at MSG, throwing subtle hints. So much more evidence. For those wondering what the "paperwork" remark meant: The interviewer asked Niall and Harry "What is the most difficult part of going from a five-piece to a four-piece after Zayn left?" Harry interrupted Niall's practical answer to say that the most difficult thing was the paperwork (switching contracts etc to remove Zayn's name). He's saying he didn't care that Zayn left on an emotional level, only on a business level. He would also always pretend to look for Zayn and count his fingers after Zayn was mentioned, kind of like saying "oh I didn't even realize he had left." Harry was bitter at the time and refused to admit anything sentimental about Zayn. The other boys all eventually said they were sad or they missed him but Harry never would.
When Harry was pretending like looking for Zayn by counting fingers etc it definitely looks like he didn't realize that Zayn left. And in his song no candle no light, he sings 'you don't even know that I left do you'. Coincidence???
Zayn always put his hand to his ear when Harry would sing Little Things to him. It was like his way of saying "I hear you" and "I understand"
I just realised most of the pictures Nick showed Harry were somehow connected to Zayn, i.e.
1. The sneakers picture has Zayn in the background, but they cropped him out when they showed us but you can clearly see that Nick is showing Harry the full picture with Zayn in it.
2. Nick asked Harry if the "sneakers" were possibly the love of his life. What an odd question to ask.
3. Ryan Gosling, The Notebook, "If you're a bird then I'm a bird", Harry got bird tattoo after Zayn.
4. Then of course, Zayn's picture. Really interesting
They don't lie when they say "Love Consumes You". It does. So much that you'd be doing anything to shine in their eyes. And I think that's what Harry always did. He tried to shine in Zayn's eyes because Zayn was always this mysterious person with an intellectual mind and Harry has been this clumsy little bubble of laughs. So it was important for Harry to be appreciated by Zayn. Only if he knew How much Zayn adored him. *sigh*

I hear u. Sometimes it was too much for me to watch. H literally worshiped Z. I think this is why he was so hurt and bitter. He literally gave his all to keep zayn happy and at the end it wasn't enough to keep him in the band. It must have felt like a personal rejection of him and his love. Even though with his head, he did understand why zayn left.
And sometimes I think they both didn't appreciate the depth of the love they had for each other until it wasn't readily available to them anymore

This is the most beautiful video i've ever watched. This is a love story on it's own. Twilight (even though i fricken love it) Titanic (also love. Cry every time) and the Notebook can't even compare to Zarry's love story. Amazing work. This video will always be my favourite. I got so emotional during this video, because it's just so real. It's like i could feel how Zayn and Harry were feeling. But at the same time I knew that what i saw wasn't even the beginning of how in love they were/are. Truly a beautiful video.

Absolutely amazing! You've outdone yourself 👏. I agree with almost everything you said, as usual. As for body language and defense mechanisms, there's so much to say I wouldn't even know where to start my friend...It breaks my heart to see how much H was hurting before and after Z left. There was so much pain, anger and probably depression he was dealing with while trying to pretend he was Ok. He's said many times it's hard for him to talk about his feelings and that that's why he finds writing to be therapeutic.He was clearly keeping those feelings bottled up and only expressing himself through beautiful songs while putting up with strangers asking him about Z and reminding him of what he'd recently lost all the time.So he was obviously in denial at the time and trying to avoid talking about what hurt so much.As you said, he used humor as a defense mechanism but more importantly avoidance. The anticipation of being asked and having to give an answer created so much anxiety(it is also SO easy to see that anxiety in his body language) and he couldn't control it so he made some well practised jokes(they are usually the same ones) and generally swiftly changed the subject. Although he tried really hard to make everyone think he was perfectly alright, you can see that he was devastated and that he needed help.

Thanks so much my friend I always appreciate your input :) It honestly hurts so much to think of what Harry went through in 2015 psychologically. Having to grieve Zayn being gone in a different way from his bandmates. Probably feeling horrible that he was no longer enough reason to make Zayn stay. And having to hide it all and pretend he was just a normal bandmate who he didn't talk to that much. He had so many suppressed feelings they bled into all his songs in 2015 and for his solo work. Sometimes he looked so done like at the Billboards 2015. Then we know his feelings got the best of him because he ultimately pushed for the hiatus even though Louis and the others wanted to remain a band, like Louis later admitted in 2017. Thanks so much my friend! I agree completely.
So good…OMG. Honestly! I didn’t think you could make me this emotional about a video after I’ve basically seen all the clips multiple times before, but I was wrong. We can see the same video a million times, but every time you show it, you show a different way of looking at it. It’s like peeking through a window from a different angle….Same scene, but you get a different perspective every time. Girl you had my emotions going haywire. I had a stupid smile on my face , then a sad face, then my stomach was just in knots. I think I watched Harry’s Zayn face a thousand times. Exactly. That's what i wrote down too. 27:53 just look at Liam. It's like he clearly knows what Harry is going through. Boys were constantly checking on/looking at Harry throughout the performances. Like we can see at 27:53, 27:43, 27:48, 29:00 and all. They look kinda confused, not knowing how to deal with the whole situation.

Oh God I'm a Fucking Emotional Mess Now!!! 😭😭💔💔 When you said that it was a repeat video of the proofs for new Zarries I didn't knew I will literally cry like a baby watching them again even though I've watched it a million times before. TBH my pillow got wet too and I was shaking. It's absolute beautiful because just like Izzie said everytime you show it to us there's always a different aspect to it. You know I was having a stupid smile on my face and than suddenly I started shaking feeling kind of butterflies in my tummy. It was actually a emotionally painful and kind of heartwarming ride watching Harry struggling before and after Zayn left. I always knew that Harry had that compulsion in him to act in a certain way. Like he wanted Zayn's approval for his feelings. He literally admired Zayn. But he was scared that Zayn would reject his feelings for him. Because he was unaware how much Zayn adorned him. Maybe they both didn't knew how much admiration they actually had for each other. Harry was so much consumed for Zayn that he literally gave his all to keep Zayn from leaving. But eventually Zayn left and Harry was left with the rejection even though he knew in his mind the reasons of Zayn leaving the band. His heart couldn't process the hurt from the rejection. It was quite obvious. I've never seen Story Of My Life Live Lounge Performance before. He looked so devastated. It feels like he was fighting his feelings and struggling to cope with the hurt. He used humour as a defence mechanism. This indicates that he was indeed dealing with depression because of the sudden wave of feelings splashing over him due to Zayn's leaving. His body language specifies his anxiety to deal with certain questions put towards him which actually hurts him. People around him asking about the same thing he doesn't want to talk about because he's not comfortable. The reason he never talked sentimentally about Zayn leaving the band. Because it reminds him of the hurt. I literally feel so bad when he actually left the space for Zayn and Liam and Niall have to remind him that Zayn's not there. Especially when Liam hugged him to comfort him and bring him back to other boys. Both the boys knew what he was actually going through. It is said that you don't realise the significance of that something or someone until you're apart from them. That's the case with these two. They both had so much love and adoration for each other that they were actually devoted to each other but they didn't realised it because there was so much more for them to process that they didn't think about it until they were apart. I think we will never understand what they actually had. It's something beyond explanation. Something only they know. 💕💕

This is really well done! I heard once that Larry was just a cover up to protect Zayn and Harry. I can see that more. Now. And I heard that Louis and Harry were joking around for Larry stuff... But that joke went too far by the fans and came too serious. Zayn being a Muslim would have way more backlash from media if he is found out to be gay. Harry and Louis not so much.
