What you need:
• 250 g/1+1/4 Cups Canned Chickpeas
• 20 Wild Garlic Leaves
• 6 tbsp. Olive Oil
• 2 tablespoons fresh Lemon Juice
• Salt
• Black Pepper
• Paprika
• Sesame Seeds
Directions
1. Cut the wild garlic leaves and add them in the chopper. After washing and draining well the canned chickpeas, add them in the chopper as well. Season with salt as per your taste and add 3 tbsp. olive oil, 2 tbsp. lemon juice, black pepper and pulse until creamy. If needed, you can add more olive oil. I added 3 more tbsp.
2. That’s it! This hummus has a garlic flavor and I usually eat it with some paprika and some sesame seeds on top!

Does wild garlic taste the same as the regular one? I know the latter is very healthy but the taste is often too strong for me. Would the recipe work with basil leaves instead?
Hi Bil! The wild garlic taste is not as stronger as the regular one is! So, you can add 10 wild garlic leaves instead of 20 as in my case and you will have the perfect hummus for you! 😊 You can also add basil leaves, of course! Bon appetit and take care!

Inca este zapada? In ce zona din Romania ai cautat? Este delicios acest hummus. Eu iubesc leurda si este foarte foarte sanatoasa. Voi mai publica si o reteta de supa crema cu leurda. La fel de delicioasa si aia! 🤤
