I thought of another analogy in regards to the target focus thing. Think of Tiger woods Driving a golf ball. Does he stare at the end of his club as he winds the club back to swing? No, he keeps his eye on the target (the ball)
Do you see any positives with training with 22lr since it’s cheaper than 9mm? I’m very new to shooting and I think I’m still struggling with basics like trigger control and recoil anticipation.
I would avoid using 22LR as 9mm alternative. The recoil is so low that it can cause you to become lazy with your gripping technique. Learning how to properly grip a handgun tightly is extremely important, and 22LR won't help you at all in that respect.
I remember one time I found my red dot during a competition. Good time(s)😅
Was it during the "load and make ready" command while taking a sight picture on nearest targets? 🤔😃🤣🤣

You gotta make sure it’s on in case you want to use it!
Ben's dropping serious knowledge bombs lately. Last few weeks have had a ton of incredible advice.
Really appreciating these twice a day videos, Ben! 👍
Much better range audio this time.
Invaluable! Thank you!
Great training, 👍
Thanks!!
Thanks once again!🎉
The quality of the vids coming out of Texas is outstanding. You need to come hang out here more often!
Thanx 🤙🏻
Ben is my favorite Instagram instructor ❤
I’m still evaluating him given his lack of spec ops background. Only time will tell if he really knows how to shoot.

Very good information Ben. What is your opinion on placing tape on the red dot for training?
Nice video but can you move the sun a little bit next time? The lighting's really not doing it for me.
I use a metronome with dry fire drills to train cadence to unconscious competence, ever tried that method?
Do you visit LFI JOHNSTOWN?
This is not an engagement strategy as you stated? That is lawyer talk Mr. Ben. Understood though. 😛
I' have been the first example for a while and it's hard to do it faster LoL
What distance was this done at?
