The Holy Ghost convicts the WORLD of sin. Last I checked the “ world”are non believers. Also, as much as we believers want to take credit for doing something significant for God His gift of grace and righteousness is an anti merit economy unlike our world economy to which we cannot boast and God gets all the glory. We only need to be reminded and/or remind ourselves who we are in Christ which makes it easy to work out our salvation in our conduct granting love and mercy and grace toward others.
