I literally just found her and my mind is blown on how she doesn't have hundreds of thousands of subscribers!!! I'm literally going to go like and comment on tons of her videos because she has super beneficial information that everyone should learn!!
As a pharmacist I would actually recommend everyone to take small amounts of B12 every morning. Rather than having huge impact on your hair and skin health it's much more related to nerve and mental health. I recommend it a lot to those who suffer from any type of anxiety. It also reduces a risk of any blood related diseases. Everyone in my family, even the kids take this vitamin daily. Another important thing is to not overdose! 100μg is more than enough to take daily.
I use to try to use different products and moisturizers even puttin straight tea tree oil on my face. Then my friend says she just uses soap. So I use a nice bar soap when I'm in the shower every other time just a water rinse and my skin is so much better and is generally more moisturized than when I was using lotion on it every day. weird.
One thing I make sure to do all the time now is make sure my face is totally clean before putting the mask back on. So if I'm eating something really greasy like pizza, I usually try to wash my face or use a wipe before I go back out with the mask for a long time
Hard water is bad for more than just your skin. It can build up in your appliances and water heater and shorten their use life. Hard water doesn’t properly break down soap so it can leave soap residue in your clothes and on your dishes. You will also have to use more soap because of this and it might possibly not be getting things fully clean. We had really hard water and recently bought a water softener, I cannot express all the small ways it has improved our life. A water filter will not change the hardness of the water. I know it’s a privilege to have that option but just wanted to put it out there.
I’ve had more skin problems than EVER because of masks (which is required by my place of work, with good reason) rubbing on my face. Anything that could help with this? 😷
I assume you’re already changing or washing your mask every day and avoiding makeup under the mask. I’d try masks made of different fabrics and see if your skin prefers some over others. I know the mask I wear most often now gives me SO much less irritation than the ones I tried first. So there’s a matter of trial and error with that. If there are areas that are rubbing, there are skin barrier ointments that may help. Since skin is impacted by tons of factors, you might find that avoiding some of the foods I mentioned in the video may not usually be necessary for you, but it might help right now be one less thing that could potentially irritate your skin. Lab Muffin Beauty Science has a fantastic video on maskne with way more detail, so I’d highly recommend checking it out: ua-cam.com/video/AKTAAAePwZI/v-deo.html
Hey Meruna! I had the same problem but then I tried softer/ gentler fabrics(I own some in khadi but idk if you'll be able to get that.) The regular black/ blue ones and even the single use ones are terrible! Oh I just noticed you posted this 2 months ago😂 hopefully you found a solution. But if not, try actual cotton/ silk ones, hard to find and a little expensive but worth it. Khadi is definitely the best, it saved my skin.
Im 100% sure that Milk does that. I get breakouts even on my neck and chest when I drink it daily. My breakout stopped when my fave milk went out of stock for a while and now that I’m drinking it again I see those little pimples are coming back!

Stopped breaking out almost entirely after I went vegan so the stuff about iodine makes a ton of sense! I think dairy is the #1 thing that makes me break out. But now I really wanna test my water too...
A GREAT way to get rid of pimples is to use ALOE VERA GEL It works sooooo well for me every time I do it, you can use it straight from the plant inside of the leaf or you can bye it from a shop in a tub. Please please please put this in one of your videos, it is an awesome home remidy that everyone deserves to know.

One of the things i have been super proud of my life is, in class 7th or 8th i gigured it out the concept of pH just naturally, i then used chickpeas flour to wash of my face twice a day and then one time with facewash of any normal brand not toooo expensive( as i cant afford it either that time) my skin from then until now is a real kind of dream cone true for any skin that is been struggling(thank GOD) also i used baby lotion at that time to moisturize my face( as my mum didn't allow me any other creams) but after two years i started using nivea creams( super cheap) and until now i am a graduate my skin routine is same, and my skin is soo good until now. Thank you so much!! My skin has been on a rollercoaster lately. Each time I think it's cleared up it gets messed up. You really opened up my eyes to other factors that might be messing up my skin.
The iodine one made SUCH a difference for me! Instead of eating things only high in iodine, now I can spread them out. And I also know ahead of time if I order my favorite salmon with baby spinach and cheese that it will make me break out, and I just go into it knowing that. 😆
I saw some rashes and was wondering if your good. Honestly the info was amazing and if you waited to record before treating yourself than I appreciate the time you spent half suffering to inform us. I just want to know how you recovered from the rashes
I have unilateral naevoid telangiectasia, so I have spots that look like rashes, but they’re blood vessels and I can’t really do anything about them outside of laser treatments. You’re probably referring to the general breakouts. That was literally just me overdoing it with the iodine. Not going to be the solution for everyone, but I’m personally extremely sensitive to it. I stopped eating the same spinach and salmon meal I ate almost every day, and it cleared up. May even be mostly spinach-related for me because if I eat spinach, I will break out. Still, this definitely isn’t the case for everyone. Acne is a very different experience for every person, so that’s why I try to emphasize the importance of knowing your own body. Balance is important. Taking anything to extremes can have unwanted consequences - and I have a tendency to get obsessed with things and eat the few meals repeatedly because it’s just “what sounds good” at the moment.
I actually take spironolactone (it's actually not an acne medication. And isn't created for that but its side effect helps with acne!) And if I actually remember to take it it keeps me from breaking out. Birth control can help too depending how your skin reacts to the hormones. It semi works for me so that with the spironolactone is amaaazing.
Hey Sarah! I've been rewatching some of your old videos and in the apartment tour one (I think) you mention that you also work as a model. I would love to see a video were you talk about the industry or give modeling tips. ❤️❤️
I basically always have something going on with my acne. I've had cystic acne on mostly my face and back for a long, LONG 8 years and I have found stuff on this list that definitely applies to me. I have extremely hard water in my area and a diet high in iodine. Oh and the pillowcase thing, it is definitely not silk and I do not change it frequently (speaking of, how often do you suggest? Weekly?). I think I'll give some of this advice a shot and try to change things up. Thank you for the video!
I never wash my face except for the water in the shower but I've also never had acne problems. I do get 1 or 2 zits each month when Aunt Flo visits me. BUT I no longer get even that because I eat a carnivore diet 98% of the time! I also don't have any pain during Aunt Flo's visit now!!
i've actually been looking for a shower head to work against hard water (brussels water is stupid hard) and we did some research and most of them seem to be more based on pseudoscience so make sure that your shower head actually does something you want it to do (if you want it to cleanse the emotional energy off your water be my guest, but those things tend to be expensive so make sure it's not meant to re-energize your water if it's something you don't believe in) also, i have a backyard so i put a bucket outside whenever it rains or snows and i'll try to use it for my hair from now on
im such a fool. you might have possibly saved my face. bought a silk pillow immediately!! Thank you Sarah for this super helpful information I never knew I needed
I love me some chocolate milk but dairy always makes me break out 😭😭btw I also can't wait to see Brian does my voiceover!! It will look so funny seeing his deep announcer voice on top of your mouth movements 🤪
You know what’s super interesting to me about dairy? It’s super high in iodine but not because it “naturally” is; it’s because of the salt licks they give to animals are iodized. 🤯 I wonder if they didn’t give the iodized salt licks to cows if dairy would still be such a huge breakout trigger for people. 🤔
Dairy is also full of hormones that don't belong in our body. It's literally growth food for calves, not meant for humans to drink. Switch it for plant milk products. :)
Omg I'm so early!! Maskne is the WORST! Great video and I hope the next one will be announcer does my voiceover with Brian, I can't wait to see you "talk" with his voice hahaha
Your videos are very informative and helpful. I didn't know I had eczema until I transferred in an island for long vacation (staying until covid is nearly gone) and using hard water. Hard water really flared up my eczema that I had trouble sleeping well. It stressed me so much that my hair was falling out exessively. Thank you for the videos you uploaded 💙💙💙
I bought some hair gummies a few months back and im just going to finish them and not buy anymore xD. I take a multivitamin and get most of the benefits from that.
Spicy foods always makes me breakout.🥺🥺 I'm obsessed with sour,I used it with everything😭😭channa, pholorie, white pudding, chicken foot etc.. I'm west Indian/Caribbean by the way...
Don't know how I didn't watch this one. But yeah I did a very mini experiment with vitamins and hair growth. And the hair vitamins I had were not good enough alone. One thing it didn't include was fish oil. So I added in fish oil. At the time there was nothing online saying that fish oil was good for skin and hair. That was not a thing looked at yet. So I just took a wild guess, coz I could only find fish oil was good internally for health and I figured if it's good for my insides, it'll reflect my outsides lol. I was measuring my hair daily coz I had this chunk of hair that was shorter than the rest so it was easily the strand I could consistently measure. And I went a week each with and without the fish oil added. Without fish oil added, my hair grew at its regular pace. But with the fish oil added my hair grew a lot. An inch. Fish oil completed the circle of nutrients needed I found. The only thing that wasn't included in the vitamins. Maybe my body just needed fish oil particularly, but I don't think it's far fetched to think it's the secret key to hair vitamins. At least good ones that actually include many vitamins and not just overload of biotin, or whatever it is, and nothing else hardly. As for skin, I've found that just washing my face more with certain products cleared my skin. I'm just lazy lol.
Aww your hair looks so great 💛💛 I know you said Brian does my voice over isn't next but I hope it can come this month...... I can't wait to see you make a video with you lipping along to his voice....... That would look so funny seeing a cute princess talking with a man voice 😂
I don’t do a set day and time for uploads anymore. Especially during quarantine, I have to do everything myself that I used to have help doing. Income stream is also way down, so I can’t afford as much editing help as I did when I used to upload every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
>Is there something you eat that always makes you break out? I have no way of knowing! I haven't had clear skin since I was 15 ;_; It sounds like all of my favorite foods are full of iodine though so I'll look out for that from now on.
@3:45 - was there a wildfire at that time? The ash and smoke in the wir may have effected their/your skin. In August the air in SF was orange, and I noticed my skin was pretty unhappy.
Huh, my boyfriend and I went vegan a few months ago and he suggested we take B12 because we wouldn't be getting that from dairy or meat anymore. Admittedly my break out started a month or two before that, but I feel like it got worse ever since. I also take biotin because my mum recommended it to me to make my hair grow more slowly and I changed the type around the time I started to break out. No, I did not see a doctor for any of that. I should have, but in the current situation I don't feel comfortable sitting in a doctor's waiting room. I guess I'll quit all the supplements and see a doctor a soon for a check up.
I have an Elsa wig styling tutorial, but honestly, I’m terrible at styling wigs and there’s probably someone out there who is waaaay better and more qualified to help you with that 😅
I’m so glad it was helpful for you! It’s the only wig style I ever really managed to do decently. 😆 I have an employee that styles all our princess wigs now and she’s way better than me! 😄
I been having crazy breakouts 😫 I thought it wasn’t some foods but made no change in it I’m a type one diabetic- so I know I’m prone to skin problems more than others. I’m still trying to figure it out ... my skin hates most everything like cleaners and etc too
Here comes Sarah killing it again with the topic that was just on my mind!! Could you please make a video making food from Disney movies? I think you would do so awesome at that! Also when is announcer does my voice over coming?? xoxo :)
So glad it was timely for you! It’d be fun to make a Disney food video again. It has definitely been a while. Oh and the Brian collab will probably be the video after this one. Not totally certain on that, but that’s the goal. & We may wind up having him do a Disney character voice instead of a generic announcer 😁
@@SarahIngleOfficial Great news and thanks for the heart ❤️ I have an idea- you should get him to do the announcer voice and different Disney character voices! It would be funny to see you talk with all the different voices haha
That's a fantastic question! I just typed out a big response, and I was on the last sentence, and my phone died. 😆 Lab Muffin Beauty Science talks about this an a fabulous blog post: labmuffin.com/fact-check-what-is-micellar-water-and-how-does-it-work-an-update/ The last paragraph gets at your question, and basically, she says, "it depends." If the micellar water leaves your skin feeling dry or itchy, then yes, you should rinse it. If not, then you're good to go. The nice thing is, even if you are rinsing it off your face with hard water on a cotton pad, there's so little of that water in contact with your face for such a short period that it's probably not going to mess with your skin barrier.
Isn't sugar also very unhealthy for your skin (and health in general, sadly)? That's at least what I used to know, next to most things you mentioned. I feel like it should be in your Top list to make it "perfect", haha^^
I live in asia and here is hot weather i do wear sunblock because i hate sunscreen and ma'am help me i have dark spots and pigmentation around mouth my skin is getting dull im depressed about it😭😭
They actually make some that do that I had been looking at. 😄 A lot of the ones that infuse the water with Vitamin C reduce the pH significantly, but there was one in particular that I really liked and now I can’t find it anywhere 😆
And ugh shower filters. I once emailed a company for more details about pH and they couldn't answer it. They gave out vague statements on the advertising just coz they were jumping on the ph band wagon. But when asked they gave the same vague statements. I just wanted to know how much of the ph does it lower, they couldn't even give me their findings from the testing of their own product lol. It was one of the expensive good brands too. So I didn't get it, like yeah naturally it MAY lower ph, but I wanted to know how good it was before paying that much. If you can't back up your own advertising, then that's a little sus. They basically described how the filter works and what it filters and jumping around the question of how much ph difference it made lol.
Vitamin B12 is a game changer. I started using this before the virus hit after my dermatologist recommended it and now I don't even worry about breaking out due to wearing a mask. It's also good for hair growth, so that must be the secret to your absolutely gorgeous long hair! Also, I'm glad you're gonna get Brian to do the voiceover for an upcoming video -- You should get him to do his announcer voice from last time as well as maybe some Disney heroes and villains! It would be funny to see all those voices coming out of your lips!!
So glad that Vitamin B12 is helpful for you! For a lot of people, it can lead to breakouts, and that’s what I was intended to say in this video, so in the future, I’ll make sure I say it more clearly. It had been anecdotally reported for decades, and 3 years ago biomedical researchers at UCLA led studies linking vitamin B12 to acne. (You can read about it here if you’re interested: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6049814/ ) This is such a great example of how skincare is complex, and what works for one person may not work for another. Glad you worked with your dermatologist to figure out what is a good solution for you. For people popping supplements blindly without professional guidance, it often throws things out of whack and sometimes causes the very thing they were trying to avoid. And yes! Super excited for upcoming Brian video. Not sure we are going to go with the announcer route, but we definitely have some Disney character ideas. 😄
@@SarahIngleOfficial I love that you linked a peer reviewed article here. You were totally clear in your video. Actually my dermatologist recommended a very specific dosage of B12 not to exceed a certain amount that would aggravate the problem. Like you said, too much of a good thing can also be harmful in other ways, particularly your skin. I love that you will get Brian to do the character voices! I think it would be funny to see him do the announcer voice for a little bit too, though. Maybe as an intro/outro gag or something!
Anam Shahbaz Just make sure to do enough research about the ordinary if you want to try them, a lot of people experienced bad reactions especially from acids.
I don't wear makeup also my skincare is water and soap I don't have money for products also the products are so expensive in my country for one face mask at the store is R120 😑
Hi sorry I'm late but actually I watched this on my tv when it was posted but I was not signed in so I couldn't like and my phone was dead so I couldn't watch it on my phone
Cheese falls into the high iodine category for the craziest reason! Supposedly, it's because the salt licks they give to animals are iodized. I wonder if dairy would give people's skin the same problem if the animal salt licks weren't iodized. Not that that's necessarily a good idea because I think it may be good for the animals. (I have absolutely no knowledge on this. It's just me speculating).
Is there something you eat that always makes you break out?
I have NO food allergies at all!

Yes! Also it is a vitamin vegetarians can sometimes be low on. That's the reason I started taking it.
Of course forgot to mention that. We mainly get B12 through meats and dairy products so vegans and vegetarians are prone to B12-deficiency.

also, i have a backyard so i put a bucket outside whenever it rains or snows and i'll try to use it for my hair from now on
im such a fool. you might have possibly saved my face. bought a silk pillow immediately!!
@@SarahIngleOfficial Mind blown 🤯
Dairy is also full of hormones that don't belong in our body. It's literally growth food for calves, not meant for humans to drink. Switch it for plant milk products. :)

Omg I'm so early!! Maskne is the WORST! Great video and I hope the next one will be announcer does my voiceover with Brian, I can't wait to see you "talk" with his voice hahaha
Yassssss, I've been waiting for that one
Thanks for getting here so fast! It's not the next one, but Brian did say he will collab on that one, so it is in the works! 😁
@@SarahIngleOfficial Omg I cannot wait to see this 😂😂😂😂
Me too (or three or maybe four) 😁😁
Your videos are very informative and helpful. I didn't know I had eczema until I transferred in an island for long vacation (staying until covid is nearly gone) and using hard water. Hard water really flared up my eczema that I had trouble sleeping well. It stressed me so much that my hair was falling out exessively. Thank you for the videos you uploaded 💙💙💙
Very helpful
Hi Sarah. It is really helpful 😲😲 I want to ask that when are you uploaded a new video???
I waiting for it
It feels like I have to become such an obsessive researcher just to get clear skin and good products ahh going crazy
Thanks for this video

I bought some hair gummies a few months back and im just going to finish them and not buy anymore xD. I take a multivitamin and get most of the benefits from that.
Make a video on shower filters. Can we make one in home?
Spicy foods always makes me breakout.🥺🥺

Sarah Ingle I love your video
Thank you!! ☺️💜
Your will come
Don't know how I didn't watch this one.
Everyone is so hyped for this one I just hope whatever we do lives up to all the excitement 😂
I cleared my acne years ago just washing with water.
What day and time do you upload pls answer
I don’t do a set day and time for uploads anymore. Especially during quarantine, I have to do everything myself that I used to have help doing. Income stream is also way down, so I can’t afford as much editing help as I did when I used to upload every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Sarah Ingle thx
What a helpful video!!! Thanks for your help.☺️☺️☺️
>Is there something you eat that always makes you break out?
I have no way of knowing! I haven't had clear skin since I was 15 ;_;
It sounds like all of my favorite foods are full of iodine though so I'll look out for that from now on.
@3:45 - was there a wildfire at that time? The ash and smoke in the wir may have effected their/your skin. In August the air in SF was orange, and I noticed my skin was pretty unhappy.
Omg 😆 Thank you this video was so helpful you are so amazing🤩
New sub here! And wow girl you are amazing!!!! Thank you for such informative videos...yes i am binge watching
Can you do a wig styling tutorial
I have an Elsa wig styling tutorial, but honestly, I’m terrible at styling wigs and there’s probably someone out there who is waaaay better and more qualified to help you with that 😅
Sarah Ingle I have seen that video and I use that video when I styling my Elsa wig
I’m so glad it was helpful for you! It’s the only wig style I ever really managed to do decently. 😆 I have an employee that styles all our princess wigs now and she’s way better than me! 😄
Sarah Ingle oh I always styling my wigs by my self iam right now styling my Rapunzel wig
Sarah can you please make another princess makeup video!
I been having crazy breakouts 😫
I thought it wasn’t some foods but made no change in it
I’m a type one diabetic- so I know I’m prone to skin problems more than others. I’m still trying to figure it out ... my skin hates most everything like cleaners and etc too
"Skincare executive" 😂
My favorite part 😂
Dairy does it for me :(
Ugh, yes I feel wanting to just eat beautifully instead of popping supplements.
2:45 shouldn't micellar water be washed out after use because of the surfactants it's has??
That's a fantastic question! I just typed out a big response, and I was on the last sentence, and my phone died. 😆
Lab Muffin Beauty Science talks about this an a fabulous blog post: labmuffin.com/fact-check-what-is-micellar-water-and-how-does-it-work-an-update/ The last paragraph gets at your question, and basically, she says, "it depends."
If the micellar water leaves your skin feeling dry or itchy, then yes, you should rinse it. If not, then you're good to go. The nice thing is, even if you are rinsing it off your face with hard water on a cotton pad, there's so little of that water in contact with your face for such a short period that it's probably not going to mess with your skin barrier.
Each new video you do is always entertaining, Sarah. And even educational in many ways. I really enjoy them a lot.
Sarah you should collab with Hyram!!
Haha I wish! Maybe if I had more subs 😆
Wow you were really hyped up at the end of the video , "brbrbrbrbrbr.... Caffeine "😂
Loved that part.
I'm surprised someone didn't have to come peel me off the ceiling when I was done. I was practically bouncing off the walls.
@@SarahIngleOfficial yeah , you got pretty loud , btw thanks for replying.

I love conspiracy theories so happy when Sarah talked about conspiracy
Isn't sugar also very unhealthy for your skin (and health in general, sadly)? That's at least what I used to know, next to most things you mentioned. I feel like it should be in your Top list to make it "perfect", haha^^

I don't know if this happens for anyone else, but for me and my sister, we've found that if we drink soda it makes us break out
Love the tips, hate the super noisy music.
for some reason, idk why, i just can’t stand skincare by hyram
You go girl!!!!
Hate to be bringing bad news but filters are not effective at decreasing water's pH. They're only reliable for removing chlorine
Yay so early😊Love your channel💛
Thank you! Love the early squad! 😄💜
You do need it for your mouth though. I heard baking soda is a good cheap alternative to mouth rinses.
Baking soda is bad for your teeth actually!
@@something6389 only if you use it as an abrasive to brush with. Dissolved in water and used as a mouth rinse, it is a really good option.

There are so many things it could be and I wonder all the time and have no way to prove any of them 😂
🧀🧀🧀🧀always makes me break out a loooooooooooooot
Cheese falls into the high iodine category for the craziest reason! Supposedly, it's because the salt licks they give to animals are iodized. I wonder if dairy would give people's skin the same problem if the animal salt licks weren't iodized. Not that that's necessarily a good idea because I think it may be good for the animals. (I have absolutely no knowledge on this. It's just me speculating).
