It was for SURE harder than anticipated LOL
glad i caughtpart of this live. its a much different experience, better balanced than the main game, so definite a bit of a difficulty jump, depending on which challenges you do. hope to catch more soon.

I just found your channel as I was browsing for videos to satisfy my Inscryption nostalgia cravings. One thing I learned from playing this mod is strategy does not always work. I always try to create a 'monster' in earlier parts, like a trifurcated undying mantis god or an undying geck-ouroboros combo.
It’s actually weird, like, I beat the run and I feel like I did fine but I still had 6 misplays in my last run… idk what it’s counting as a misplay but I usually have like 10 on average…
21:10 fire over free pack rat? I might have gone for item utility.
21:44 spreading effectiveness across your deck is hurting you, giving the +1 to the cub would pay massive dividends.
I’d be curious on an in-depth evaluation on what exactly is a misplay 🤔

Edit: also 49:19 when you fight the trader and trade for cards, those are temporary only for that fight. You don’t keep what you take. Kinda a bummer, but also would make the run too easy if you took op cards :p
53:42 taking ant queen is fine, undying would be nice if you had a goat or something to take advantage of it. I think undying queen is just too costly to be effective for the ant generation so adding a second is fine. You could have taken the roach to try to pull something to use it on… but it’s just not as guaranteed you’ll find something. Mantis or God Mantis are much easier to take expecting to pass their abilities to like an alpha cub or king herring. >>Actually, undying cub with the ant sigil would be bonkers if you put it as a chump blocker/sac fodder. Plus getting painter slime next just gives you that second queen for better pull rates for your ants. Buuuuuut you sac’d it to the stoat - stoat isn’t worth it imo. Big loss to get rid of the wolf cub.
1:01:13 probably a better idea to put the child’s sigil on your chunky ant queen. Sure, it’s a higher cost, but it’s beefy and you actually want the queen out on the board. Having a random non-ant taking up a slot kinda limits the purpose of the deck. My argument against the tentacles being good cards is that there isn’t card draw. The best you can usually do is replace the card you played… and even that isn’t reliable as most those give lackluster replacements (bunnies, mice, bees, etc). Not playing a card in this particular game can be run ending, so it’s counter intuitive to hold your hand specifically for one card.
@@AtrociousJakeholy hell, I broke the game… unkillable ouroboros and an unkillable goat sac into each other for an infinitely strong ouroboros… aaaaaand infinite teeth..? I kinda wanna see how long I can go before the game crashes lol
