There is a right way and a wrong way to open a safe with no combination. First thing I would do is dig through all that paperwork looking for the documentation for the safes. Good probability the combo wasn't changed from the factory. Or if it was it may have been written down in the manual. But most likely someone thought turning that hand crank with a pry bar would force it open, causing the damage you see.
In case no one else has said, filing cabinets usually have a drop bar that prevents opening more than 1 drawer at once (tipping hazard). Might be why that filing cabinet wouldn't open properly for you.
This storage unit is flat loaded from floor to ceiling..😍😮 Wow you two hit a jackpot..🤗 Congrats.🎉 I'm so excited & happy for you guys.. Those Cross bows are freaking sweet I sold one I got to my buddy and he shot into a steel dumpster and went through one side and stuck in the other from about 100ft away..🤔🙄💨 Much love. Cause I would have been screaming like high school cheerleaders seeing each other a their 10 year class reunion. I probably said “ Holy Sh$#” more in this last hour than I have in the last 20 years. 20 minutes into the video and you already made your money back and much much more. Especially if you can get the safes open without destroying them. Good job to you both.❤️
After that many stuff we will need a whole video just about comps and prices for the stuff lol too many stuff to keep track of on this video. Awesome storage unit! Congrats on the find!
Yea there was so much stuff there was no way I was going to be able to get all that into the video haha and thank you this may be my biggest score and you will see that in the upcoming videos!

21:42 -- That piece is by Frank Frazetta, the godfather of sword & sorcery artwork, and is titled "The Berserker." It was sold to an anonymous private collector in 2009 for $1m. If that's the original piece, then you just scored big time. Otherwise, maybe $100 - $300 for an early, minty print?

A lot of people think they have the right to criticize creators. Everyone has their own opinions. I have quit watching channels because half the time the camera was pointed at the side of the trash can. You did a great job on this video.
Dude all hunting gear, those ozonics ozone scent eliminator are expensive as hell. Obviously ya'll don't hunt cause you were pretty funny with names of bows and mainly all stuff in unit. None the less good things happen to good people, I can tell ya'll are genuine as they come. Shout n you out from the midwest.
😮😮 Holyyyy WOW!! What a SCORE! Now I'm SO curious how this unit was lost with that many valuable saleable items! 🤯That guy is gonna be SICK losing what had to be years of collecting... do you ever share if you find out what happened?
Those file cabinets are interesting, and bode well for the unit, after all, how often do you see someone invest in fire resistant file cabinets? I'd spend on having the locks drilled out on those safes, what are the safes worth? Even the cost of the locksmith and new locks will likely let you sell the safes for a profit. Don't write off those computers, if there's any ThinkPads in there, there's actually a fandom for those. Even the other stuff can have value, computers are practically a requirement in this day and age, so there's likely people out there that'll take anything they can get. Put Linux on them (Linux Mint, PopOS or Ubuntu would be my recommendation) will make them surprisingly useful.
@@TheGeorgiaPicker Wasn't just the weight, the first one you opened reminds me of a fire safe with how thick the drawer fronts are, and the way it looks, more substantial than the normal sheet metal. Yeah, you'd called the computers junk, but it's surprising what you can get working, especially with Linux, I'm running a 5+ year old wait station to drive a laser engraver for example.
. I subed today . You wonder what happened to the original renters of the storage units to not pay the rent . Have you ever investigated why someone would let valuable goods be put up for auction. Someones loss is someones gain. Thanks for sharing the adventure.
We are really excited to see the 2nd half of that unit with the gun safes!!! Hurry hurry😂😂. We enjoy your vids and how y’all treat everyone (including each other) with respect 😍
You made your money and a lot more kids. Congratulations all the bows I bet it is already double your money. Charlie is a tan hottie! Plus when you asked him do you need a knife to open the swords 🗡️lmao😂
Its hard when your adrenaline rush is going plus being in 100 degree weather for like 6 hours haha it gets to ya so sometimes we just try to rush through things
@The Georgia Picker, though I know it's an older video, I have to say this first off make sure you keep older gun boxes even empty some have value mainly if someone threw their boxes out of it didn't come with it almost like a watch having boxes help if you going to sell something. Though I know you mentioned eBay a lot and going to assume here but I been to many gun and outdoor shows across the country and they usually have a section for people like yourself who aren't FFL's but even empty gun cases can cost a bit to ship if it has an odd shape but you could set up a table at a gun, knife, outdoors/hunting shows & have good chance to move stuff also alot of cheaper knives and swords are usually found at a lot of flea markets and I do know people who find a bigger flea market than get a table in a month but promote their going to be there and say space cost $50 you have potential to sell the things you can't sell on eBay CL FB. Also not a lawyer so do your own thing but ma y yrs ago when I first got into public safety I used to be able to get things from emergency vehicles either for free or cheap and say eBay regulates sale of warning lights LEDs helped bc you could list them as say Whelen light bar clear lens model ....... R/R B/B red red blue blue & people still list things as such basically it comes down to creative writing to meet their terms so as long as box doesn't have the words throwing knives it could be a collection of 3 identical knives like this video you have 3 people helping each one can have their own knife again not advice or anything else it's all about wording and it's done on all platforms even Amazon I just looked after I typed this whole message though I saw a lower views just realized you been at a while so I apologize I mean no disrespect in any I didn't know how long you been at this & figured would pass on some info. Like I like to share info with good people. Not sure if something you do off camera but anytime you find a firearm make sure it's clear I think I heard you mention it in a short also like I appreciated you didn't open cases till people weren't around. but I you never know how people store stuff like I seen one person flagging everyone in another channel and the weapon was loaded you don't want to be like Alec Baldwin. But honestly because I have shipped gun cases will say if I was selling them I would try to sell locally it's even like I had a Driver & Putter I was going to give a relative in KY to ship it from NH because of size and shape think USPS was cheapest & was like $65 to ship to golf clubs, oversized items are stupid though I bet you have business accounts which helps a little and though your market is smaller and it may take little longer you may get a better ROI.. also thinking outside the box if you happen to find someone at a flea market who sells cheap knives and the mythical ones it doesn't hurt to ask of they but them though yes if sold individually you might make more but if you can sell as a package deal no shipping also it helps you network so in the future if you find another unit like that he might be open to buying more in the future. So like I mentioned I used to sell emergency lighting and through a forum I met someone that had a business that did installs for various agencies and of every town has city money and you will often see them reuse light bars and whatever they can he would sell to those agencies as well as call and volunteers yes I probably could of made a little more on somethings but for me up till my accident (why I don't do it anymore) if I can sell 15 light bars in one sale its a win. But kind of why I like channels like yours though I never got into storage units with connection I made & like you said good things come to good people so if I could help a small town out it was a win on my book bc I knew there were items that I could sell to make $$$ like 6 months before my injury/accident someone I met their city was doing away with old street fire alarm boxes (which if you don't know both police & fire street boxes made by well known company Gamewell but depending on condition the box alone nothing in it can sell for crazy prices) basically I was offered to take as many as I wanted some had original bases(not light all cast metal) I sold one for what I paid for the lot and it was in rough shape though because I had so many i was able to change not only the the number on the box but also internals. Lastly I saw that you go to estate sales and this is something to look for in homes but honestly can be found many places. Something I found like your tape measure video, (people collect weird stuff and unusual stuff). But I found diapers yes diapers and it doesn't matter the age they are for babies to adults though brand named ones well best. So I help a non-profit(also use it as a way to write off or help taxes to donate stuff ) and they always can use medical equipment but they only give out reusable stuff like hospital beds one estate sale had crap ton of medical stuff and I got great deal to take everything & for some reason I decided to look up diapers on eBay no bs I put a single package on eBay no reserve started it at $40 it sold for $165. Almost. Like trains it seems like vintage & new medical stuff has a market I didn't know of & not tech savvy to see what things sold for bc listings are all over the place but figured would pass it on bc like tape measures it's something that shocked me and think you mentioned being a vet if I heard correctly happy to help if I can pass something on I will also no disrespect but even though I really don't resell much anymore your not in my area lol great content
That's the difference between somebody who paid the retail price for something and somebody who paid pennies on the dollar. There is a different level of passion and appreciation. Some items likely mostly items that don't tickle the personal interest button or the high $ sign button for the buyer get tossed around with disrespect
Great haul! Word to the wise- do your sorting off site. This will keep people from distracting you and also reduce the risk of the previous owner showing up and giving you a hard time
Nice try to find someone who can open it by feel or ear. Pay to get the combonation for 1 and hopefully its the same combination for the other. If not, pay for the second one too, which should be cheaper because he is already there. I wouldn't get them drilled because then you would have to pay more to get it repaired. Someone in your area should be able to do it. Even if you have to pay extra for traveling further. It would be worth it not to get it drilled. Call companies and ask if they have anyone or know anyone. That way you can sell the safes which would more than pay for their services. Unless your going to keep them for your own guns and dont care about the weld plug and paint.
@@TheGeorgiaPicker very I have moved many in my previous life, the safes at first glance don’t look great quality, probably used as gun safes rather than high value items 😊
@@TheGeorgiaPicker OK I was looking for the second video. How long after did you put up the second video? Also, I found your Whatnot channel and your eBay channel. Sincerely Chuck PS. I’ve already booked your two shows on Whatnot lol
nice haul. i binge watched a ton of vids looking for the vid that would show the contents of the 2 massive safes but nothing. are you guys not going to show that?
I don't think I would want to get into storage units and the reason is cause I dont want to profit off of people's misfortunes. I know some people just don't want to pay for the storage anymore and those people I do t feel sorry for but I'm talking about people that have problems then lose their storage thing cause they can't afford to pay it anymore or people that pass away and just things like that. I just won't feel right of taking advantage of people losing their stuff like that it's almost like we r stealing their stuff.
I need a bow so if you want to sell a bow with heads and arrows im interested if its the rite price. I want to get into bow hunting to extend my hunting season. The quest looks like it would make a good starter bow
@@TheGeorgiaPicker bumer wish you saved some things from the videos. A watnot a few days after the vidoe airs would bring in alot of people competing with each other giving you the most money for alot of items. Some of these youtubers get like double the price for some things shown in videos. Plus ypu dont have to sell everything in the videos on watnot. Guage the audience try with one type of thing if bos are going for a ridiculous price keep them going. Same with knives, Collectibles and random lots of harder things to sell on ebay. Well if you get any more bows or crossbows before September im looking.
THIS UNIT IS INSANE! PART 1! STAY TUNED AS THIS UNIT GETS EVEN CRAZIER!

R/R B/B red red blue blue & people still list things as such basically it comes down to creative writing to meet their terms so as long as box doesn't have the words throwing knives it could be a collection of 3 identical knives like this video you have 3 people helping each one can have their own knife again not advice or anything else it's all about wording and it's done on all platforms even Amazon
I just looked after I typed this whole message though I saw a lower views just realized you been at a while so I apologize I mean no disrespect in any I didn't know how long you been at this & figured would pass on some info.
Hi from Sweden , a lot of light and god karma . 🤗☺
Ayyy Thanks Andrea! Glad to have you here! and yes good karma for sure!
Damn your Rough, the way U throw those things to the concrete , madness.
Its hot we sweating lol so sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do haha xD
That's the difference between somebody who paid the retail price for something and somebody who paid pennies on the dollar. There is a different level of passion and appreciation. Some items likely mostly items that don't tickle the personal interest button or the high $ sign button for the buyer get tossed around with disrespect
@@buffalobill9793 sure
Great haul! Word to the wise- do your sorting off site. This will keep people from distracting you and also reduce the risk of the previous owner showing up and giving you a hard time
Yea if we find another unit like this then we will do it offsite!
What a very good find
Thank you!
In the upcoming videos you will see we got a locksmith to open them up
24:03 game processor is to gut and clean your hunting kills which you should do right away soon after the kill.
ahhhh gotcha! thank you!
It was a safety harness in the small bag in the bow case.
Those old S & W boxes can be worth some money
Yes they are!
Those heavy filing cabinets are worth a bomb they are fireproof ones 😊
Heavy too!
@@TheGeorgiaPicker very I have moved many in my previous life, the safes at first glance don’t look great quality, probably used as gun safes rather than high value items 😊
lol - wife says, "need a knife?" (to open the katana boxes)
You guys need a pop-up to keep yourselves and cameras shaded. And if you have access to power, a portable fan can save your life.
Yea we were talking about that the other day!!
I have file cabinets like that filled with vintage video games and guitar pedals.
Nice!
When your back plastic drops for your photo box get all scratched up and dirty... what do you do? You have a lead on material?
Usually just buy the replacement drops on amazon you can also flip the material as well!
Hi just found you from Vermont
G5 value is around $700 So, you’ve more then tripled your money on this unit.
Congratulations. The ol’guitar is worth about $99.00
Dang!
I stumbled across the video and subed right away
Thank you!
Did you ever do a part two to this video? Because I want to see what was inside those safe. Sincerely, Chuck.
@chuckclark9464 yes everything from this unit is here on my channel!
@@TheGeorgiaPicker OK I was looking for the second video. How long after did you put up the second video? Also, I found your Whatnot channel and your eBay channel. Sincerely Chuck PS. I’ve already booked your two shows on Whatnot lol
Should be right after this video! Awesome hope to see you there!
nice haul. i binge watched a ton of vids looking for the vid that would show the contents of the 2 massive safes but nothing. are you guys not going to show that?
That is so crazy that is massive all the stuff in the stores been that is so crazy they leave everything in there
They said it was here for only 2 years!
Still have those old laptops, i like taking em apart
Nice! We sell all the laptops on our whatnot shows!
That handle on the first safe ie either broken or the safe is open.
Yes it was broken!
You scored big time.
Call your local bass pro shop they might sell replacement keys or know how to get them
You've made your money back with that Horton + one of those Barbie dolls which sell fast
Absolutely! This unit is going to bring in a lot of money!
Wow this dude has a little bit of everything
The seatbelt you said thing in a bag recheck it might be a five point safety earnest and they are worth money
Absolutely right! it was extras for a safety harness and we found the actual harness as well!
I need a bow so if you want to sell a bow with heads and arrows im interested if its the rite price. I want to get into bow hunting to extend my hunting season. The quest looks like it would make a good starter bow
So they have already sold!
Great bro
@@Mynameis7nad we are doing that for the next whatnot auction. Video will be up Tuesday and then we roll right into the auction
Was wondering if he was into reenactments??? Great finds though. Def. will make 10x money back.
I honestly have no idea! and thank you!
