Hi, you can create manually a few competencies and sub-competencies on a moode website, then export it as Excel / csv file. This way you will have the basic structure for your competencies. There was a repository for sharing frameworks: archive.moodle.net/mod/data/view.php?id=27 But not sure it is still active. You might find more info on the doc page: docs.moodle.org/311/en/Competency_frameworks Hope this helps. Cheers
Hi, no plugin at all, it is the default tools of moodle 3.3. There might be a plugin to import / export competencies in various formats. Hope this helps. François
Hi, the ergonomy could be improved. You have to create a learning plan. Once created, when you go on learning plans, you will see that 0 cohorts are assigned to this plan. In fact, this number, zero, is a link. When you click on it, you can add cohorts... Hope this helps.
Thanks for the response. Here's the situation i'm working on - we've to configure the competency gap of the associates. For that we want to put scales naming beginner, intermediate & advanced and some points according to the organisational gap analysis. We kept same competency framework as course framework and after the course/activity completion it should tell the gap. Also, we've different cohorts enrolled in different courses and competency as well.
@@kishorechandra4924 Hi, I haven't seen that in Moodle... the best layout is from the mobile app, but only the student can access that... you should definitely post this question to the moodle forum... moodle.org/mod/forum/view.php?f=1229 (there already a post for that: moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=369859 )You can also check if a request exists in the tracker, if not create one, and ask people to vote for your request in the forum tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-65190?jql=project%20%3D%20MDL%20AND%20component%20%3D%20Competencies (if nothing exists, you could maybe sponsor a module for that with a local developer team). Hope this helps, good luck. François
I was hoping this would give me a step by step guide to adding Frameworks and Competencies and explain what they are, but alas, I will keep looking. If starting with nothing and as a beginner with Moodle, I am trying to work out they Competency Frameworks etc. Thanks anyway for the video.
Hi, indeed it is the competency tool is a hard stuff to understand, and I am still confused by some of its aspects. I made this video to introduce the tool to my teachers. The detailed training was given person to person. Notice that the Moodle mobile app has a nice layout to display the competency portfolio (new version should be out around mid june 2018). Don't hesitate to share your questions on the Moodle forum. Best regards.
Hi, I think it was Eguru at the time of the video: moodle.org/plugins/theme_eguru Unfortunately, they didn't upgrade their template for the latest version of Moodle 3.3, so I had to change. I am currently running Fordson. Hope this helps. François
Many thanks , great video.....
Thanks, kindly advise where to find CSV competencies files?

Do you know any useful plugins I can use to analyze the data for learning plans and competencies?
Thanx for the video. Which plugin are you using?
