I am not nepali neither live in nepal nor understand properly but often use to listen Narayan Gopal sir songs. His malai nashodha is really very great song. Thanks a lot
I once experimented Narayan Gopal songs with a friend coming from Turkey when studying in UK. This came to my mind after listening to some of his Turkish music. I invited him to my room and requested him to listen Nepali music. After listening few minutes. This is what I got from him: "I don't know what this guy is singing, as I do not understand your language but from his voice, I can reckon this guy must be a famous singer in your country."
It's a pity that we no longer can attend his live concerts... Wish I was born a little earlier...Our generation has really missed the chance to see one of the greatest singer of all times of Nepal😥😥...

i am very proud of narayan gopal. he was a great kirati singer. narayan gopal was old generation kirati. melina rai is now new generation kirati. this is how kirati can passed down their culture and tradition from generation to generation.
