As a filmmaker, I think it's pretty average. Josh Hutcherson is great, the animatronics by the Henson workshop are amazing, the mechanics of the suspense are nice, and the film's faithful to the lore. But it doesn't really feel as visceral as it should. It should feel more like 'Intruder' or 'Texas Chainsaw' than 'The Babadook'. The grief study aspect can make the film feel like it drags a little. The dead-serious parts clash a bit with the goofier parts like the subplot with the aunt. But I think the film furthers a good precedent as a video game movie; it's for the fans. The element of 'horror' was not present in the film, and that's where I give the film most of its criticism, since it's based on a horror game. The parts with Abby and Mike weren't really good as well, and the subplots weren't necessary. But if you came as a FNAF fan, you would definitely enjoy this more than the average film viewer. Thanks for the comment man, helps a lot ❤
@@P-EZY No problem! I actually differ slightly in that I think the mechanics for 'chilling' horror were there in certain scenes, like when the thugs broke into the pizzaria. They were just undone by the presence of the cartoonish animatronics.
nice
Amazing vlog
luv man ❤
