Thanks for showing these fools being foolish....also.....Jesus alot of channels are ripping you off lol. Emulation is the highest form of compliment. ;)
Here's my question if you're being followed by a police officer and their lights are on and they're trying to pull you over don't you have the right to make it to a safe location for not just yourself but for everybody else on the road so that might have been the closest spot for her to feel safe was around other people
Sorry, but huge disagreement with you on this one. 1. Cops are the first responder to 99% of fatal accidents. Watching a woman ignore emergency vehicles trying to pass her is not only a pet peeve, but it’s a public danger. 2. The only way a rational adult driver could drive for 5 miles without noticing a police cruiser directly behind her, is somebody who has her cell phone on her lap or is carry on a conversation while she is driving. I think this woman was in a hurry, was in her own little world, and completely unapologetic for it. When she committed a crime by not allowing an emergency vehicle to pass her, she is now a public nuisance, and needs to be taken off the street. I see nothing wrong here.
Anytime they give an officer a suspension instead of a real punishment, they're just telling the community they don't care at all about officer accountability.
Right an says to that tyrant hey keep doing it. Most lawsuit are created by dame cops. But we wont fire them till 20 lawsuits or something terrible happens.
Thank you officer for protecting us from the evil pregnant lady going to pick her husband up from the hospital! You’ve saved countless lives in your endeavor!
Actually the officer did protect us and may have saved a life or two, including that of the pregnant lady and her baby. Traffic accidents kill MANY more persons than crime, and distracted driving is in the top-3 main contributors. That lady was not in a mental condition to drive, similar to driving under the influence. Now, that doesn't mean that I agree with what the officer did. Not at all. The officer could have just gave her the tickets, spend a couple of minutes explaining to her something similar to what I explained above and how that level of distraction endangers her own life and that of other persons sharing the streets, and get a commitment from her to pay more attention. Or, if he didn't think that the woman could achieve the required level of attention, tell her "I can't let you drive in this condition, but instead of arresting you let me take you to the hospital, you can get an Uber from there, go home, rest, and then you or your husband pick up the car when you feel better". THAT would be sere and protect.
The impression I get too. The entire thing was just him having to fill up his need to feel in control and finding an easy target. He kept on going on about how much easier it would have been to write tickets instead... he could have done it. He was the only reason it was taken that far.
Hey, at least he didn't do a pit maneuver and overturn her vehicle on the highway, like another officer did to another pregnant woman (who had turned on her hazard lights and slowed down to seek a spot to pull over). Silver linings...
To be fair my wife has lodged far more complaints against me as a husband and I’m still married to her. Sometimes complaints are just complaints. Other times complaints are actual problems. Hell if everyone who got 10 complaints were fired, Starbucks would be without baristas and McDs would have no burger flippers.
Yeah, but baristas and burger flippers aren't typically armed to the teeth, with a badge, and the power of life and death in their hands. @@turtleinashirt
He got suspended for a few days???? He’s got 29 complaints and they still think it’s okay to have him on the force? His attitude clearly indicates that he KNOWS that he can get away with anything, it’s extremely upsetting.
That is what they mean by defunding the police. Defunding them breaks the police union and then a city can hire back the cops they want and not hire back the ones they don’t want to .
29 complaints is INSANE, because most people would never dare file a complaint against an officer for fear of retaliation. So 29 likely means he does this on a daily basis and only got called out on it 29 times.
@@MamaSnuggles not many, but law enforcement/first responders/healthcare workers have a larger margin for this. People will file complaints because their ribs were bruised when an EMT was administering CPR that saved their life, or because an officer tased them while they were attacking that officer. I’ve been a CNA for many years and have had more than a few ridiculous complaints filed against me. One of which was a patient actually taking the time to fill out a complaint form because I wouldn’t get a swatter and chase a fly around his room to kill it when I had many other much more pressing maters to tend to. Mind you, clearly this officer is a huge jerk and the way he handled this was wrong, I’m just pointing out that there are reasons why certain careers have allotments for complaints.
She lead him on a five mile chase. FIVE MILES. How long does it take to travel five miles? At highway speeds that's about five minutes. Given they were in an urban area, I'd estimate he was chasing her for at least eight minutes but as many as fifteen. How believable is it that two cruisers are following you for about ten minutes and she didn't see them?
@@jasonlongton1876 trusting officers who can and will lie to cover their asses is never a good look. If she did make them chase her for 5 miles, even by accident, some of that was warranted. Not the kidnapping tho
The woman was pregnant, bawling and had the added stress of her husband having had surgery while she was at work. Yet, the cop arrests her out of spite because he refuses to believe that she isn’t lying. She stuck to her story even facing a jail cell and the cop still insists she is lying. I believe if she had said what he wanted to hear, THEN she would have been lying. I wish there weren’t so many officers with inflated egos fueled by power.
Yep... infuriating and disgraceful, I'm watching this and my blood is boiling. The woman has to get to the hospital because her husband's having surgery and the idiot cop is ignoring her. 😡😡

yeah, the cop who arrested me was convinced i was lying as well, despite me telling the honest truth all throughout. even went so far as to say "just tell the truth next time" as we pulled into the jail. i said sir i did tell the truth, you just don't believe me.
The way he seems to enjoy lecturing her while she is crying is disturbing. This is exactly the kind of person that should NEVER have authority over anyone.
He's a sadist on an ego trip. I'm sure he has loved ones who will say he's a very nice family man, yadda, yadda. But he lacks the judgment that I expect of professional law enforcement. Do better, Texas!
I think you missed a crucial point. The cop said that he was arresting her and bringing her to jail basically to punish her (a bad consequence for her bad action). That’s not his job under our system. Punishment only comes after a case has been tried. There are other reasons to bring a person to jail, but it’s not up to officers to dole out punishments. It’s that kind of thinking that leads to so many excessive force situations.😊
I would add that it does not seem likely he was behind her for several miles as the officer stated in the video. If she was going for that amount of time and distance, both a dash cam and body cam could have been used to prove the validity of the officer's arrest. It does sound excessive that she went that long without noticing flashing lights and having this officer behind her. It's likely the officer lied about that detail and was just frustrated over the idea of someone not yielding to his authority immediately. That on top of the overwhelming amount of complaints and investigations, that's a likely sign of an officer who's a problem maker than a problem solver.
I don’t honestly think they don’t know. How could they not see? Even if they are the best cop in the world, do they not look at the next cop over and think, damn, I’d hate to be pulled over by this asshole and then have the lightbulb go off?
He was unnecessarily harsh. She was obviously in the midst of personal distress with her husband being in surgery. The officer was mad and his actions show he took his anger out on her.
The perception as a victim of domestic abuse I was, this guy has issues with women, he loves to humiliate them. I guess childhood wounds cause of the females in the house? Or his mom? I bet you that he’s not like it with makes and I wonder if those complains came from women as well.
She nearly hit a cop then fled five miles with lights on behind her. She was obviously in no condition to be driving, and she got lucky he felt bad at the station about her husband needing her care after surgery.
Who said she nearly hit a cop@@WitchyBishy? If that where true wouldn't she have been lifted for dangerous driving? The cop had to much power and he abused it!
- I think the person before is referencing the primary reason for the mv stop which was her failure to slow down and move over for an an emergency vehicle that was on a mv stop That’s a valid law and police officers, firefighters, medics and tow drivers are struck by motorists all the time which is why the law was enacted She then continues to drive for 4.8 miles refusing to stop for multiple police units with lights and sirens I’m sorry, how is this the officers fault? 🤔 The fact that she’s a teacher, pregnant and picking up her husband after surgery is irrelevant In the full length video of this incident she admits that her husbands surgery is completed and the hospital staff is waiting on her to pick him up on her lunch break She’s clearly is in a rush because of poor planning on her and her husbands part on pickup from the hospital after his surgery The husband having surgery and her rushing to pick him up on her lunch break isn’t a reason for her to speed and refuse to stop for the police? If she wasn’t slowing down and pulling over for police on a mv stop and not stopping for the police chasing her for 5 miles do you think she would stop for someone on a crosswalk? Stop sign? Red light? Mrs Montalvo created this situation with her actions and the way she was driving a mv that day
@@maizenblue981I didn’t say he was wrong, simply that he was overly harsh in his interaction with her. It was an emotional exchange and his temper got the better of him. Everything you stated is absolutely valid, his human side took over and his professionalism took a backseat.
As he said, there are consequences for your actions. His “consequence” was a paid 7 day vacation and the continued ability to abuse power. This is America.
This is America, meaning what? That we have the freedom of expression to show our outrage at the denial of our God given constitutional rights by governmental authority? She will likely get paid, too, via a civil lawsuit. Is that what you meant? Because if you meant that police abuse is uniquely American, you are an unserious silly person. And you would be wrong too…
Imagine how pissed off he was after that suspension. I beat an untruthful cop in court at age 17. I really didn't want to win knowing he would always be after me. His anger got the best of him one day when he pulled up next to me at a traffic light, scowled and jumped the light causing a crash.
I agree with your 7 day paid vacation statement. All that actually happened was that he was rewarded for his actions and this is nothing more than an incentive to act in such a manner.
If he followed her for 4.8 miles then why don't we see this on his body cam and dash cam video of the noise of the siren and the flashing lights and her failing to stop at lots of junctions and red lights? When he was following her for 4.8 miles and they came to intersections and junctions and red lights, why didn't he get out of his vehicle and walk up to her tap on the window and tell her to stop? We see that he has had to go for training for failing to turn on his dash cam and recording in the past. Just how many times does he fail to turn on his dash cam to record the truth that he has had to go for extra training on this? There's something off about this guy that we can see it through what he's saying and the lack of evidence to back up what he says.

Probably, he was just fulfilling the daily arrest quota. If he had no arrests for a couple of days, it would go against his performance. We are all aware that most police officers in the force do not have degrees. Many of them served in the military right after graduating from high school, and after a few years in military service, they would apply to join the police force. A study was conducted to compare the behavior of police officers with degrees versus those without degrees when dealing with a suspect. The study revealed that police officers with a college education tend to be more polite, while those without degrees often exhibit excessive force and ego when dealing with suspects.

He wasn't following her for 4.8 miles. I would LOVE to see the cctv on that. I guarantee that his ego wouldn't have allowed her to ignore him for more than 1.5 miles.
They didn't include it cause it shows exactly what the cop said. They also could have included the radio traffic. As he followed her long enough for backup to be there right away. And the radio marked when he said she isn't yielding and send me another unit. It's possible they are both telling the truth. Maybe she didn't know he was back there.
You could tell he wasn't even interested in what she was saying she said immediately she was picking up her husband after a surgery & he still didn't know until the end of the interaction, his ego was challenged because she didn't yield to his authority and that's all that matters to him

One of the most concerning parts of this is the fact that the initial "investigation" but the Ft. Worth PD found nothing wrong about the officer's behavior. Yet a second investigation by the PD that was monitored by the Police Oversight office determined his actions warranted a weeks suspension. This shows that they cannot be trusted to hold themselves accountable. All departments should have a civilian review board.

Throw in a radio and I often can't hear sirens until they're in my immediate vicinity (and I drive an EV, so that's without engine noise!). @@JP-qq3ry well clearly cops dont lose their power even if they are 100% in the wrong so.. And practice shows that, cops RARELY get consequences for their mistakes
I'm a former firefighter -- I've driven many times with lights and sirens. Sometimes, people get so nervous around an emergency vehicle that they're afraid to do anything out of the ordinary, such as pulling over. I found this to occur mostly with "little old ladies" (forgive the stereotype). Of course she's not that old, but perhaps similarly, she lacks confidence to make decisions for herself... such as how and when to pull over. Her husband is in surgery, and it wouldn't surprise me if he usually does the driving. Yes, I find it quite believable that she had no idea what to do.... She may have felt that she might even be accused of a crime if she pulled over. So she "stayed the course" and did nothing.
i wasn't taught here in the state of CO you had to move over for a parked emergency vehicle (that could be because either they touched on it really quickly and they dont require you to answer that question on the written test, and a practical might just not ever encounter that situation). its a bit more of a common sense thing, we're explicitly told to slow to a stop when you hear the sirens behind you and its incoming, but the protocol when passing an emergency vehicle is more muddy here--ive always operated on the "if others are doing it, do it too" adage and it never fails me--cops cant (or at least shouldn't) pull you over for keeping the pace of traffic and such.
She shouldn't have a License to operate a Motor Vehicle if she is "too scared" to follow the LAW. She deserved the what she got; and her "ignorance" is NOT an excuse.

Here's my question if you're being followed by a police officer and their lights are on and they're trying to pull you over don't you have the right to make it to a safe location for not just yourself but for everybody else on the road so that might have been the closest spot for her to feel safe was around other people
I learned something. That cops are evil and should be avoided whenever possible.

@@kevinlue4756 what does matter is that the cop shouldn't have of arrested her
Actually the officer did protect us and may have saved a life or two, including that of the pregnant lady and her baby.
The arresting her, taking her to the station, then sending her back thing was a total ego trip.
This is why people don't respect police officers.
It’s a sick mental game
Sucks all those feelings and the stress go directly to the baby.

And cops wonder why they are so hated.

The fact that she’s a teacher, pregnant and picking up her husband after surgery is irrelevant
In the full length video of this incident she admits that her husbands surgery is completed and the hospital staff is waiting on her to pick him up on her lunch break
She’s clearly is in a rush because of poor planning on her and her husbands part on pickup from the hospital after his surgery
The husband having surgery and her rushing to pick him up on her lunch break isn’t a reason for her to speed and refuse to stop for the police?
If she wasn’t slowing down and pulling over for police on a mv stop and not stopping for the police chasing her for 5 miles do you think she would stop for someone on a crosswalk? Stop sign? Red light?

One of the most concerning parts of this is the fact that the initial "investigation" but the Ft. Worth PD found nothing wrong about the officer's behavior. Yet a second investigation by the PD that was monitored by the Police Oversight office determined his actions warranted a weeks suspension. This shows that they cannot be trusted to hold themselves accountable. All departments should have a civilian review board.
It's quite clear that the department's initial position was if we have the power to do it, any use of discretion is acceptable. This is a department culture thing and I'd be willing to bet if there is one officer behaving this way in the department, there are others.

it's crazy how much discretion is given to police. you can get anything from ignored, a warning, a ticket, or all the way to a trip to jail for the same offense. just depends on the how the cop is feeling at the time or what they think of you.
It all depends on how you part your hair!
Well at least you have the court which will probably side with you here. In other countries they arrest you without an offense and you go into prison with murderers with no trial.

But if he was on a emergency, not yielding for 5 whole miles is absolutely unacceptable. Say what you will abouy the officers behaviour but she should not be allowed to drive.

A menace? She admits she saw him behind her and didn’t pull over because “she didn’t think it was for me”
Pro tip: Whenever a cop says "Be honest with me" they always mean: "Tell me what I want to hear to make my job easier." Even if their assumptions are correct, never admit that. They will use it against you, even if they promise they won't

You would loose your power for shooting someone when they didn’t do something wrong you are supposed to shoot when they are armed and are threatening a cop I don’t know everything since I’m not a cop but I’m pretty sure that you are supposed to shoot if someone is trying to kill you or if they run away. Obv I don’t know everything but people aren’t saying he wasn’t supposed to arrest her but they are saying that he should have let her at lest call her husband or family member and explain what happened and for a friend to pick him up. @@JP-qq3ry well clearly cops dont lose their power even if they are 100% in the wrong so.. And practice shows that, cops RARELY get consequences for their mistakes
@@Niyatex So you want to become a police officer for the soul reason that you would be able to harass people?
Exactly my thought as well. While rare for sure still happens and this cop is an a-hole for treating her like this.
🎯
i wasn't taught here in the state of CO you had to move over for a parked emergency vehicle (that could be because either they touched on it really quickly and they dont require you to answer that question on the written test, and a practical might just not ever encounter that situation). its a bit more of a common sense thing, we're explicitly told to slow to a stop when you hear the sirens behind you and its incoming, but the protocol when passing an emergency vehicle is more muddy here--ive always operated on the "if others are doing it, do it too" adage and it never fails me--cops cant (or at least shouldn't) pull you over for keeping the pace of traffic and such.
Especially if you're in the left lane and you may be boxed in or not feel safe. It's a split second decision.
She shouldn't have a License to operate a Motor Vehicle if she is "too scared" to follow the LAW. She deserved the what she got; and her "ignorance" is NOT an excuse.
Eight complaints substantiated and this one cost him personally; 7 days suspension is serious for his overall police record in junction with the 29 total complaints.

"...just to boost his ego" AND to get her to admit something he could use against her in court.
Exactly. He was bullying her into making an admission. Did he even Marandize her? She had the right to remain silent and have a lawyer present during questioning. He kept badgering her with questions.
