Nice break down. I still have my RX V650 but it is working just fine. If I ever need to ever dissasemble it nice to see someone has documented it. I see from other comments you did fix it.

I just fixed the same unit with protection trip. Try the +5v reg 7805 (under the clip you removed at 7:15).
Looks more like a take apart and clean . I saw no repair(s) being done.
try the ceramic capacitor on the small board where the mains lead comes in!
what is the purpose of the jumper wire in CPU Ic?

I found it, one output was faulty, replaced the transistor and everything was fine after that

@@yoavkahati Unfortunately, I returned this receiver to the owner, it was only at my place for repairs.
