Absolute Value is the distance a number is from zero. In algebra we study many topics about absolute value to include the definition of absolute value, absolute value equations, absolute value inequalities and absolute value graphs. You do the absolute values first which is 3 and 7 then pemdas
2•3=6 6-7=0

Yeah, but you didn't mention that if the negative sign is outside the absolute value, the answer is negative. That's an important tricky part

I 3 - 5 I = I - 2 I = 2; I 5 - 3 I = I 2 I = 2; So, 2 - 2 = 0 is the answer.
