check out the high end Gotways and kingsong. Most of them can do 30mph easy

It's a good video. But I think you should have brought the GoPro Hero 6 on a selfie stick instead of this big rig you have. You needed more flexibility.
Better look at sony x3000. I use it for action stuff and it's really good! IMHO
Except the audio for the talking parts wouldn't have been as good. Maybe both?
With sony you can use external mic btw.
I think I eluded to that....unless you somehow get a good external mic for the GoPro the audio won't be as good.
not sure about that - I use my Sony A6500 with a gimbal and I can get nice low shots... Of course if you fall down.. well that's money wasted... but to get the shot it's worth it.. at least to me lol..

I know you normally do tech reviews and game streaming, but it would've been interesting to do a profile piece if you got any contact information on the guys that modded/custom or DIY boards. Anyway great video, plus I like the technical notes you were giving in the beginning. I'm really curious what the footage of the guys on the electric unicycles got when you guys were cooking through what looks like a UPS loading bay at 5:28. Are you planning on doing more group rides?
First, THANK YOU for making this evolve vid. I love my bamboo GTX street. Second, if you change the gears from the stock 32t to the 38t using the 107s, you’ll get a lot more acceleration, but you’ll sacrifice top speed and range as I understand it....Also, you need new belt plates if you upgrade to the 107s from a smaller wheel. The dude at Filipacchi told me TODAY when I bought my 107s that the stock belt plates would fit. I knew they wouldn’t, but I was hopeful. Just a heads up to anyone who wants to upgrade from the crappy 97s.

That was very cool. Those motorized unicycles, I never knew they went so fast.
One thing that's pretty clear by watching this video is the potential "Cool" factor of the transition to autonomous vehicles.
Once all those other cars start to drive themselves, the number of surface streets needed to serve a city is going to dramatically reduce.
At the same time (with a little push from the population) it is possible to dramatically expand the street level infrastructure to take streets formally used for cars and transform them to EV transport. Long range electric skateboards, E-bikes and even small long range electric carts can be used to transport people within a city.
The Carbon GT has a range of 30 miles on street wheels.. .even with a 218 pound fat old rider like myself. We have E-bikes now with ranges over 100 miles.
It's pretty clear the landscape is changing.. and hugely for the better.

So sick! Loved the video. Now I really want an e-board community in Munich too! What we do have is a group of up to 1000 people on bicycles taking over the streets once a month. For a very weird law, this is actually legal in Germany.

For that particular R2 Evolve remote, the company changed the acceleration curve to make it more gradual. If you switch to the gen 1 remote, you can definitely get a much stronger kick in GT mode - possibly faster acceleration than Boosted.

Those Unicycles are crazy fast. I road with a guy from SF who came down to LA to join a group ride, he was hauling ASS downhill, had to have been going 40mph.

Nice Sam. I find the 97mm wheel is a great balance for the Evolve CGT. High top speed w/ more torque than the 107's. Not quite as smooth though.
