when a TV channel cancels a show which is still far away from its completion its nothing less than a betrayal to the spectators who started watching the show...either finish the story plot or dont start the show..its cant be in between

V is one of the most scariest, captivating and phenomenal TV series ever! It should definitely continue either as a miniseries or film trilogy. Season 2 finale ended with the biggest cliffhanger i've ever seen in television. The stakes are more higher than ever for Erica with Tyler being killed by Anna which sets up the final and deadly showdown between those two women.
Anna is one of the most frightening and best villains in television history. This show was way ahead of its time and reflects so much in real life especially in politics and that's the main reason why V was cancelled. It centered around a protagonist and antagonist who were both females. Season 2 finale ended with the biggest cliffhanger ever with Tyler being dead, Joshua finally regaining his memory back and being back in Fifth Column, Erica knowing the truth about Hobbes's involvement in husband's death, what happens to Chad, does Marcus turn against Anna, Erica reeling from Tyler's death and wanting revenge, Ryan being dead (but does Joshua secretly bring him back to life?) and Erica and Father Jack finally realizing their love. Would've set up a sensational season 3.
There was nothing Erica could've done to save her son. She tried to warn him many times about the V's but he didn't listen. And that's where he made a mistake. Tyler chose a wrong path and it cost him his life. Even Lisa tried to reason with Tyler to no avail because Anna's hold on over Tyler was becoming too strong. His humanity was even fading away. That explains his coldness towards his mother. Tyler was completely brainwashed by Anna. What makes Tyler's death so heartbreaking is that he was finally starting to come to his senses after his mother told him the truth about the V's. But it was already too late for him.
A lesson learned: Listen to your parents, be obedient to them whether you agree with them or not. They love you more than anything in the world and have your best interest at heart.
Erica will make it her life's mission to take down Anna once and for all to save mankind and to avenge her son's death. Anna sealed her own fate by killing Tyler because now she's made this personal with Erica. Anna and Erica have now become mortal enemies. Erica's got nothing left to lose. And there's no more dangerous enemy than that. Erica and Father Jack will team up with Joshua and Ryan to formulate a plan to kill Anna together once and for all. Erica will kill Hobbes to avenge her husband's death. Having forced to witness Tyler's death, Lisa will definitely want her mother to die. Erica's grief/rage mode is a lethal combination. Right now the only thing that's keeping Erica together is Jack and she will do absolutely anything to keep him safe because she loves him.

Just like in the original miniseries 20 years ago, humanity lost but had a slight chance of fighting back in the future. Hopefully, in 20 years by now, we'll have another V series...

I can give you a nice new seasons about Visitors. I call it Visitors vs Predators.
After the accident occurred in 2004 in Antartica, Predators managed to capture a new Alien Queen and imprisoned her in another pyramid in Egypt. They decided to increase the frequency of the hunting tournament (every 10 years rather every 100 years). So they scheduled the next hunting tournament in 2014, 5 years earlier than the "official" arrival of the Visitors on Earth.
At their arrival Predators discovered the sinister truth of what happened on Earth after their departure. They saw that the Visitors are slowly conquering and enslaving humans. This such plan did'nt like at all to the Predators just for one reasons. If humans are exterminated, no more hunting tournament forever!!!
So the decision of Predators is clear. War on Visitors and to Anna. At the same time are excited to hunt a new galatic civilization they have never met before. The ending is the death of Anna under a shot of a cloaked predator's beam cannon, making her lizard's head into many pieces.. BANG!

The show was cancelled due to politics. It was deemed to be sympathetic to non-state actors and terrorism. You notice that by the end of the 2nd season, they tried to change the protagonist identity from a freedom fighters to a secret government organization. I think it's a last minute effort to save the show. But to no avail.
Sure. Expanse got it's terrorist. But it doesn't portray them as positively as the V.

This was like the best show ever :( I hate that ABC had to cancel it....I can't just accept the fact that the Bliss took over all of Earth because Erica and the government people were under ground. I'm gonna assume that they didn't get affected, The Government launches an attack on the V mothership, While at the same time destroying concordia sites and they will stop the invasion, kill anna, and Win back Earth. But I still have one important question....WHERE THE HELL DID HOBBES GO? HOBBES!!!!!

Just finished watching this on TV channel pick in the UK and as everyone else I am disappointed that it ended weird as it looked like it could have been a thrilling third season because the visitors had not invaded yet and Erica just having been recruited by a special team of men in black personel

The ending was complete dog 💩. The only thing that actually made the ending worth watching was seeing the fbi's son killed. He had it coming with all that V simping he was doing.
