A perimeter belt of reinforced concrete reinforced with iron bars around the height of the windows would enhance the structure. Even vertical reinforcement with reinforced concrete inside the holes of the concrete blocks, especially in the corners! This is because the outer wall is very old. Wonderful laying!
I’m catching up on these videos and thoroughly enjoying them. The work ethic and energy is amazing.to see. I did wince though when using the lump hammer on the rocks without any eye protection. Only because I once got a chip in my eye from hammering and it is damned painful. Sorry to be all H&S 😆 🍺

Is it listed bro, done some of this work too used to shutter of the top row of stone and concrete it to build off. I used to go up to Basildon where they made those blocks your using, up in the hills- to get my blocks back in the day...even did some work on that place too! also at the Belper plant. The stone work is going to be built back up with a cavity. So the damp won't come though. The big old stone wall what I said is staying, is going to be battened out with some 1x1 timber with a vapour barrier on it. So no moisture enters the building 👌👍 Hope your well Mary

Not trying to be rude or tell you what to do because your channel has really grown on me, but a man of your ability and age should consider spending a few years down in London. Looking at the different work you do you'd be well placed to overcome the variety of work the capital throws at you and you'd smash it. I'm not a Londoner but like so many trowels from around the country I headed towards the M25 and it's been a learning curve I've never regretted. Not knocking you, your work or your channel in any way but I can't help make the suggestion considering what you clearly have to offer. Don't get me wrong, the place is a shit hole but the variety of work if you look hard enough is second to none.

I think they might be slightly lighter. I think ours range from about 11-37 lbs
Those are 8" weights which is the vast majority. They come in 4",6", 8", 10", 12"
