1998 - 2005 Astro Safari Van Sliding door fix

Sliding door center roller bracket repair on a 1998-2005. Make it work with the bracket that's available from amazon or eBay. They claim to fit but really it only fits up to 1997.

Thanks for the good explanation. Can the correct brackets for 98+ not be found anywhere? Little worried about the extra fabrication etc. Cheers

I searched all over for the correct part. Discontinued through GM. And any aftermarket part that says it fits turned ouy to be wrong. I ordered 2 different brackets and they were the same for 98 down. So I looked again on the internet and they all seem to be the old version. Any other question don't hesitate to ask 👍

I was looking for it and I didn't find it, my vizagra was exactly damaged and when I closed the door it went out of the curve

This is the part I bought. And then went to my local machine shop and had 2 bushings made. It cost $100 but totally worth it. My door has worked perfectly ever since...
