That Skyfire cake at 12:44 is lovely. My absolute favorite effect ever is crossettes, especially when used in zipper cakes. And I also love horse tails. For a consumer cake, that is top-tier for sure.

After buying 24 pack canister shells from my local store last year for $130 to $150 a box. Buying wholesale ($1K minimum) from Superior the SFX Power Pack gave me 3 boxes of 30 shells each for a total of $235. You do the math, 30 shots for under $80 (90 for $235) or 24 shots for $130 to $150 Also bought 2 UFO Sightings, 2 Ethereal cakes and 2 Majestic Brocade’s and more… It’s going to be a fun New Years!
Always drive to Superior Fireworks when I’m in Florida. They have a great selection and great prices. Their website has videos for all the products and there’s even a tool to script your show.
I wish that I could have 3 of the best effects, in a 24 pack. So basically 8 shells each. I think there is too much emphasis on different effects that we could just have the best in the pack. Great for shows!

For consumer fireworks the ATF has a regulated standard that they have to have tubes in all consumer shell kits. Otherwise it's just a box of bombs. That's how it works. It's already a standard and code that they absolutely HAVE to have tubes. They come that way from China because it's the law
Get the majestic brocades in the 500 gram cakes. They are damn near just as good as the finale rack and a hell of a lot cheaper! Also did the ufo sighting this 4th and it went without a hitch as well. Absolutely love that cake.

I’m not easily impressed by consumer fireworks anymore. So many disappoint. But these seem to be great quality. Might have to squeeze a little more room in the 4th budget
Especially in CA. It seems all to be the same stuff. Same rewrap fountains with new names, and same effects. I need to get out of CA for the better stuff.
They definitely have some unique stuff and their breaks and colors are typically better than average. But i agree with you it's hard to beat the proline stuff.
Great vid. But unfortunately I predict most firework stores will just pocket the saving on compact packages/less shipping cost. Maybe after few years the price will eventually come down with competition, but I wouldn't count on it. Support the stores that have honest prices. If you're in Missouri go to Rocket City Fireworks. They have the best honest prices without going the wholesale route
