    Parr was too old for this fight. A younger Parr would have made it more competitive. Parr while never having much speed his strikes were more diverse and he was more defensively responsible.

      JWP has officially retired now. He only had one more fight after this. GOAT is right ✅️

    • @danj805
      @danj805 Рік тому +2

      It's precisely because of people's respect for him that they wanted him to hang them up in the first place. Hard to see a legend of the sport fighting on way past their best and getting battered, JWP had no business fighting still at this point.
      Of course it's his decision and you have to respect that, but fans of his arguably just wanted to see a man who's given so much to the sport bow out with grace rather than fight on too long and potentially get seriously damaged.

    • @kermithebudgie
      @kermithebudgie Рік тому +3

      @@danj805 if you followed JW on social media you would have understood the process behind him wanting to have a last fight. I'm with you to a certain degree, I didn't want to see him in the ring again, especially against Holzken but all he has known his whole life is combat. He was desperate to go out on his own terms and he managed to do that in his final fight. Now he can concentrate on his family and gym a happy man. To say he had no right being in the ring? I think he had EVERY right.
