What’s wrong with shoveling below highbanker What’s wrong with working in November. It’s Canada it’s winter up here half the year. We work in winter up here. It’s a high banker that he built that he’s testing. What’s wrong with putting his shovel into the high banker. None of your 52 points which were actually 4 points do I agree with. Literally zero. Man that was seriously pathetic hating
@michaelsamchuk1819 well if you knew anything about this then you would know and I could explain but it just seems your already too dumb to not understand cause if you had any knowledge you would know my points are valid
You have researched and built a unique Highbanker, that really WORKS WELL! Loved the series of your research to build this wonderful unit! Seeing it working this well was a treasure to behold! Fantastic build! Can't wait till I can afford this beauty myself!
Thank you very much! I'm glad you like the design, I'm proud of how it turned out. Like I said in the video, don't buy one if you don't have the finances, but they will be available on my website when the time is right!
Very true. The bears up there never caused me much pause... but when you see those big kitten tracks in the mud, those always made my head swivel a bit more !!
Stainless mesh is just great! You can tug weld it if it starts to come apart! I use to work at a been jerked plant and we used 4x4 shears we used to put beef jerky in the screen to dry the meat in the dryer and they would bang around and I would have to rig weld the mesh back together! That material is great for a sluice!
As high bankers go the worlds best in my opinion . You can guarantee that any classified material going over the sluice will release its gold in it's length . If logic dictates not just flour gold . Fantastic build
Dual-level beach box PopandSon. Brilliant concept and great engineering. I can't think of many units, if any, that are better than this one at similar proportions requiring a 1.5 inch pump. A maelstrom up top, and a calm sheet of glass down below. Congrats, and well done.
The highbanker is looking real good, Kyle. I especially like water surge from the spray nozzles and how quickly the upper screen below the hopper self clears itself. Thank you and Chris.
Excellent video Kyle! Love those slowed down sections, showing how well your system operates. Watching this, honkered down in bed with -40 C temps outside really added suspense. I set up a link on one of our southern neighbors prospecting forms. Stay warm and have a happy new year!
Thanks John! I've been keeping an eye on the Alberta weather and using it as motivation when it feels to hot and muggy down under. Hunker down my friend! Thanks for helping to spread the word, much appreciated and happy new year!
Every well thought out engineering. Nicely done ! Obviously, you've experienced a few trials to come up with a final production product. I definitely can relate to your journey, for I started producing my own machine. I really like the compact profile for transport. This could easily be shipped up to the Nome beaches. I was there last year. LOL ! Wish you the very best in sales ! Good luck prospecting !
That is a really well built and solid unit Kyle! I like your idea for the metal guard above the back level. I had a bubble stick on my box in the same location too but it got knocked off by my shovel and falling rocks without the guard you incorporated
I was thinking... The spot where your shoulder goes when you "shoulder it" Maybe you could put some kind of (rubber?) padding there? Not that it would be an issue, but a little padding goes a long way!
Congratulations! I like the fine but exquisite details that you have incorporated into your finished product! I'm very happy for you and anxious for my purchase! Also does the highbanker purchase include the leg kit? Thank you!
Hey thanks! Every highbanker is sold as a complete kit including legs, mats, spray bar, and even a 5 foot length of the flexible hose I'm using in the video with camlock fittings. Just connect to your own 1.5" lay flat water supply that can feed the box with 34 GPM and you're good to go!
Thank you. I have had a few limited opportunities over the years, but It's not allowed near where I live, so I still have lots to learn next time I travel to a place I can.
@@UtmostOutdoors Sound good! I'm down in the USA, hopefully you can get a distributor down here! It would be cool if your spacings allowed for changing to dream mat or Gold Hog mats, since thats what everyone wants to run, that would give customers an option. Again, amazing design, I'd been planning to make something similar for myself, but what you've done is better!
I'll keep that in mind about mat options. It's tricky as the expanded metal is the thing that holds the matting, so other recovery options would need a separate retaining method. I'll think on this... I chose moss because my local fine gold is particularly difficult to capture, I can see about 70% retention in 3ft of Dream mat mini mat, with huge scouring losses when you take shoveling breaks, or 90% retention in the same length of moss without losses during breaks. In combination with hopper recovery this allows me to run without an extention, which is very convenient. In areas with easier gold, the rubber matting options would be perfectly fine, and the box could be run as a single level in easier gold, so a matt swap could be nice for that... but I guess I just made this for my local gold for now. Thanks again for the suggestion, like I said, I'll look into it.
That's correct. Canadian made for the foreseeable future. I'll do a little update video on my Australian plans later on this month. Just getting setup with a little place to edit and such.
The first bottom mat should have been cleaned out in the other tub to check that pan for losses. If you are that confident that the stack and the first 2 caught it all then disregard.
Thanks! Sorry, but I'm all out of stock at the moment and won't be able to create any more in time for the 2024 mining season due to a recent move to Australia.
Thanks! I made 6 for sale on my website, but they all sold out in the first 2 months and I won't be able to make any more in time for the 2024 mining season... Sorry!

I was going to make a crude highbanker , but yours has my attention . Nice looking unit . I am looking for a waterline quick connection , for a hand water pump , and your hose connectors look exactly what i'm looking for . Do you know what they are called ? Thanks ! Ontario Canada (where its real hard to find stream or beach gold )
Hey, thanks for watching my video! The quick connects for the hose are called camlocks. They can be found at a store like princess auto, a dedicated hose supplier, or even online. I have used the aluminum ones as well as these plastic ones for years, and I've never had one break yet. I was given the advice that the plastic ones remain easier to use over time as the aluminum ones can become a bit tighter over time as a layer of oxides form. Good luck with your build, I hope you learned something here.
Thanks for the info. Appreciated ! ! I've been watching quite a few highbanking and sluice vids & i'm told i got gold fever hahaha . Will your new highbanker capture a high percentage of flour gold , or is it meant mostly for gravels and not beach sand . @@UtmostOutdoors
This highbanker was specifically designed to capture fine flour gold. Normal fine gold can be captured pretty easily in comparison and would not justify the need for the double level sluice, but this was built to have the recovery of a beach box and keep a high percentage of ultra fine flat gold while still processing gravels in the hopper. If you ran this box with beach sand that had a high black sand percentage, you would need to feed it slower than you see me shoveling in some of my other videos, but it would do an excellent job on beach gold. Check out some of my other videos from this summer's testing and see what you think.
Really appreciate the info and reply . I've watched a quite a few of your vids , but will go back and check out the one's i missed . Thanks again @@UtmostOutdoors

Well... I just checked and shipping to Australia is pretty wild for something this size. The best I could find was $1198 just for the shipping... It's interesting because I can ship to Europe much cheaper. It's closer to $300 to ship to Germany and $600 to ship to Spain.
