One of the biggest problems in leaving an abusive relationship is people won’t believe you because the abuser is charismatic and charming in front of people:
This is exactly how he was for me. I finally got away, but people still tell me they don't see why i left because he is so nice and so this and that. If they only knew.....
From his body language reactions he is definitely happy he's getting off by interrupting with jokes.
you nailed it
Bingo
You are absolutely correct. He should have left that relationship the very first time she hit him. Hell, the first time she degraded him for not being perfect.
Ever been confused about what a toxic relationship looks like, this is it.
Yes. So toxic he ended up killing her.
Every relationship turns toxic after 4-5 months on the road in a van together 24/7. This was an argument.
@@esaedvik disagree. Every relationship is different! Unfortunately for them, it did end up going south 😔
She sounds like she was having a nervous breakdown.
please this isn't toxic if anything this was life in a van for weeks and nerves
I can’t imagine how the police involved felt when they realized Gabby went missing soon after and eventually when it came out that Brian was the one who killed her.
I know right???! Awful awful awful 😞
Tbh I don't think they cared. Pigs.
Not a good look for that Police department tbh
He killed her 2 weeks later in a totally different state. Hardly the Moab Police fault if they decided as adults to get back together.
They were investigated by an outside expert called in by the police department.. They were reprimanded because -- as the expert said -- they should have made an arrest and charged someone with abuse.
They should have arrested and charged gabby with abuse because she was the abusive one. That is what the ruling was.
The way he's laughing and almost giddy when they tell him that he's the victim and that she is going to court... he is such a monster.
typical narcisist move
Narcissistic. I just was victimized by a person with NpD. It does not feel good at all. I'm a good dude I never ran into a person like that. I had to find out the hard way.
He was throwing her under the bus the entire time. 😮
For real. They need to take body language into consideration. She looked terrified and he was just laughing.
Crazy to think that her getting arrested could have literally saved her life.
They would have held her overnight in jail and then she probably would have gone back to him when she was released on bail. DV cases don't hold longer than a night, it would have been the same situation but she would have had a record and an upcoming court case.
Maybe she was safe for a little bit of time, but if she come back with him … maybe it will be the same end in another day.
Thats what I was thinking. 😥
Maybe they should have arrested the guy that was going 30mph over the limit and wouldn't pull over.
I was about to say the same thing. If only.
Abusers literally drive you to a nervous breakdown while telling everyone how unstable you are.
I wish peace to her loved ones
@Ace Ventura Someone having mental issues for any reason does NOT make it ok for someone to abuse them. Brian was the abuser. Brian was SEEN slapping/hitting gabby. WHAT TF DO YOU HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THAT? And since YOU are obviously an abusive asshat yourself i am sure you know ALL about how someone like Brian thinks...and how he was always in control of everything gabby said/did and without a doubt he made her FEEL like she HAD to take the blame for everything that caused them to get pulled over. An abuser always causes an "ITS ALL YOUR FAULT, LOOK WHAT YOU DID" situation/mentality to the person they are abusing.
SHES THE PROBLEM NOT HIM...
@@vinnyrisalvato6563 Yet he strangled her to death. I guess you think that is OK? Clearly you must be an abusive person like Brian. Can you make a comment about the fact the 911 caller said Brian was the one slapping and hitting Gabby? And also, in what world is it EVER ok for someone who may have any emotional or mental disorders to be abused just cause they have those issues? Smfh. You are a sad and small man.
@@vinnyrisalvato6563 he’s unemployed driving her van around not letting her in and slapping her… yea…. I can totally see how the dead victim is the problem. 🙄🤦♀️ you must sympathize with Brian because you live at your moms unemployed and drive your girlfriends car too
it's funny how people see what they want to see instead of the truth.. the truth is Gabby was the abuser in the relationship not Brian she was the one with mental issues not Brian she literally admitted to DV on camera but it's Brian fault because he got abused and was trying to calm her down and didn't want to press charges.. Brian you should have pressed charges locked her up and you probably wouldn't be in this situation that you're in now because it's obvious that relationship was toxic because of one person and that's Gabby.. I know I know she's a 110 lb blonde petite white girl so she can't hurt nobody yeah right it's obvious she used to beat him up every chance she got..
it’s been almost a year since she passed. this beautiful girl deserved so much better❤️🕊
Is Brian Laundry still alive or is he dead too
@@LsavCrazy Yes he is dead, he killed himself shortly after Gabby was found deceased.
She played with a rattle snake
He deserved better too
@@briannamichelle2993 Before
I was in a situation like this with a guy like him. The police arrested me because he had a bite mark on his arm and I had no marks. The bruises on my neck from him strangling me showed up the next day as I sat in my jail cell and no one would listen to me. I bit his arm to get his hands off my neck because I thought I was going to die.
Thankfully in court I explained everything to the judge and he took one look at his criminal record and believed me. I still have that arrest on my record which is extremely embarrassing because I’m sure people have seen it not knowing the full story, but I’m grateful I was arrested looking back because that is what got me out of that relationship with him. I was hysterical just like her when we got pulled over and my ex was calm and collected and charmed the police.
Manipulation is their specialty. RIP Gaby. You are an angel and I’m so sorry you lost your life.
Thank you for sharing
Thank you for sharing. I have had similar manipulated experience, and it is so very unfair and unjust...
Soooo many red flags. The way he was smiling the whole time trying to seem as friendly as possible, laughing and joking with the cops while Gabby was breaking down.
and apparently he was being very rude and arguing with the restaurant staff to the point of her crying and apologising for his behaviour
I did research:
"Domestic violence" or "domestic violence offense" means any criminal offense involving violence or physical harm or threat of violence or physical harm, or any attempt, conspiracy, or solicitation to commit a criminal offense involving violence or physical harm, when committed by one cohabitant against another. "Domestic violence" or "domestic
violence offense" includes commission or attempt to commit.
-Notice it says Commission OR attempt to commit. Cops letting her go for 'lack of bad intentions' is made up. This is ironic, because I've seen a bunch of cop videos lately where they arrest people for nothing. You're recording me illegally parking? So you're loitering. You're not giving your ID? Oh uh...obstruction. Public photography? Oh uh...that's disturbing people so it's illegal. Of course, most cop victims seem to be unattractive males like this dude. But an attractive white gal? It's all good. But hey, looks/race/gender doesn't matter.
Classic narcissist.
Women tend to be labeled as “crazy” too or over reacting.
@@organic_angel Take your theories to femcels sub.
The fact he drove her van back without her didn't report her missing and then refuses to say anything about where he last saw her is HUGE red flags.
2 hours ago on his IG he posted a picture quoted " I will miss you" .... that sounded creepy to me , he knows exactly what he did ! + an innocent person would cooperate with the police & do what it takes to find their loved one
Pretty strong chance they continued to fight and he made her get out and then just drove home.
@@WhyDoThat that’s a possibility
@@WhyDoThat I loved how the cops radioed that it was possible DUI but offered NO other possible explation for the reckless driving such as a medical issue. And then was so sweet and nice not asking for ID from the start and allowed him to stay in the van with possible weapons. I'm sure he would have treated a van full of black people with such pleasure
Absolutely not, I would keep my mouth shut!!!! Not a word
Unbelievable!!! Her face was full of scratches and HE is the victim...Good job officers👏 RIP, Gabby!😢
He had them too
She actually hit him first
They gaslighted her to death, basically. The main officer gave her no option than accept blame or be arrested AFTER independent witnesses had allready seen Brian hitting her on multiple occassions. The police knew this because he says it before he starts talking to Gaby. Yet it was more important to him to stand by his abusive, murderous bro than to save Gaby.
@M.E.D. It's called self-defense. He even hit her in public more than once that same day, and on previous occasions, according to witnesses who didn't know either of them. Stop blaming the murder victim.
@@FC-ku4ez Well said. She was clearly terrified and for all we know her admission that she hit him first was a lie, because like many abused women she would have been frightened of consequences and also frightened that Brian might be arrested and separated from her too.
If anyone is in an abusive relationship reading this here’s some words of advice. These men are like a ticking time bomb ready to go off. It’ll get worse and worse. You can't change them. Everything will always be your fault. They're famous for apologizing and saying I'll change. They don't change. They’ll stomp on your dreams, isolate yourself from your family and friends, put you down, show jealousy and lower your self esteem to the point that you don’t know who you are anymore. You’re in a dangerous situation; if you fight back physically in any way or verbally attack them they’ll snap and kill you. Don't provoke them any further. Please get out of this abusive situation. Make a getaway plan, move far away 3 or 4 hours if you can, get financial assistance, reach out to people for help, go to a woman’s shelter. Don’t look back and don’t go back.
Men get abused too there is such a thing and it does happen I’ve seen it
In this case, officially -- Gabby was supposed to be arrested for domestic abuse. The police favored her instead. She was the abuser.
@@goodtoGoNow1956 for sure. Gabby was a manipulative pain on the ass. "I push peoples buttons" she says. Brian should have left her, but he killed her like a dumbass.
@@LaurensSecretAdmirer I suspect he actually loved her. He was not a fully mature man.
3 Women are Killed by their Abusive Male Partners EVERY DAY. How can this happen? Well, it looks EXACTLY like the Gabby Petito story. This is not a video about a woman abusing a man. This is a video of a Woman being abused by Man - to the extent that she is Covering up and Lying to the police to protect him.
I can't imagine how these cops must feel after finding out Gabrielle is now missing after this.
I wish when she was in the police vehicle that the cops would have sent her back home with a counselor or someone to protect her until she got home.
I feel like the lead cop had an inkling that she was in trouble . I think when he pulled her out first and pressing for information he knew there was more ..unfortunately abuse victims almost always take the blame and cover for the abuser.

@@beckoninglight16 the phone call to the police said they saw him hitting her. So maybe look into it a bit more.
As a first responder, I have to wonder how affected these officers are. Knowing they could have done things differently. I personally would be devastated if I were them. It’s sad women are still viewed as overly dramatic and emotional. My personal experience is that abusive men cannot feel therefor they never crack under pressure like Gabby did, crying and everything. RIP Gabby
In my opinion those police officers acted very reasonable. I realise he was nothing but a murdering bastard. But It is all very good to look back at something in hindsight. If the police officers had gone the other way and come down hard and charge them both, we may very well be claiming police abuse of power. Basically who would want to be a policeman not me.
Gabby was emotional and crying because she thought she was going to be arrested and taken to jail. She calmed down the second the cop said that would not happen.
@@christopher9588 The police were making fun of her with him and calling her crazy? Nothing was “reasonable”… so much more could have been done

These were Brians Injuries according to the Moab Report.
Gabby left scratches and bruises on Brian. The bruising and bleeding was from her hitting him with her phone

I can see how they misread this situation badly. I have to imagine the officers feel terrible. Fact is; Brian presented himself as the calm one, where Gabby seemed unglued, BUT they were called via 911 to check out a situation where a man hit a woman. So no matter how calm Brian may have appeared to them they should have realized what they were called for an check into THAT and NOT fall back on the "chicks are crazy" cliche. Gabby was sobbing for a reason. Read the room!

Gabby was crying because she didn't want to go to jail for DV. She begged them to give her a ticket for anything else just not that. She calmed down when the officer said he was not going to charge her. She slugged and hit Brian in the arm and head because the police were behind them and she wanted to stop Brian from telling her to calm down. Go watch the videos.

He locked her out of her vehicle. He admitted it. This video is so frustrating and disgusting to watch. And to know his last “note” about killing her is saying she asked for it and he did her a favour by killing her. Brain is so disgusting.
The way she takes blame for "distracting him" and for "being mean." You can tell it isn't the first time she's made excuses for how he treated her. Reactive abuse is one of the most disgusting ways people manipulate their friends and partners.

@@tlightning8383 Well, duh.....she was miles from home living in a van out traveling. Safe from strangers yeah but ended up not being safe with her loved one.
I’ve been in this situation. Let me just say that if they had asked me that…. I’d have lied. Because to make that statement and to have them not protect me the consequence would have been FAR worse. I’d play his side out of fear of what he’d do if I didn’t. So many victims get shamed for not speaking out…. But when you’re IN IT?? You can’t rely on a “he said she said” interrogation. My abuser was SO smoothe. He could beat me one minute and then greet the neighbor laughing like life was the perfect. Look how they treated them both differently. He was calm and she was upset…. She was clearly affected and stressed….But he was calm collected, laughing even and they took him seriously. Not enough training goes into these types of assessments IMO. When I look at her I honestly see me. So 💔 heartbreaking. I hope her case sheds more light on victims of abuse and that they take situations like this more seriously. I could understand being pulled over for driving over the limit. But there were eye witnesses stating they saw the male hitting her in that parking lot…. I think if their training in these situations was better they’de have been able to see it for the situation it WAS. Or if they had been more aware of victims of abuse. Who knows for sure. My heart goes out to her and her family.
This should be a textbook example of how complicated these situations can be. So future officers can take it more seriously.
Imagine being a victim and finally coming across someone who's supposed to help you (even though she didn't call the cops herself) only for them to blow you off and take the side of your abuser, all while calling you crazy and irrational. I can't imagine how alone she must have felt. I can't help but wonder if she felt she deserved to be treated the way she was. That breaks my heart. She probably felt like this was all her fault.
I have been in her shoes, she definitely at some points. Felt she deserved all of it.
It happens all the time. It happened to me. I had evidence and all and they sided with the abuser luckily I was strong enough to get away and have not look back but I am still hurt by this. They have to do better. I would not been alive and I depended on them. It is not a good feeling in this situation sooooo sad.
Very very low self esteem.

This exact thing happened to me the cops charged me with disorderly conduct even after I calmly explained my boyfriend had broken things in the house and was aggressive cops don’t care and I honestly relate to gabby I wish she was still here to tell her story
this hurts my heart. she’s so scared and wants to say what’s really going on and can’t. she’s so overwhelmed and finally was able to speak to someone that was supposed to help her, she started ranting on why she was acting that way and almost seems to be searching for a place of peace. i wish i could hug her and tell her it’s okay.
He beat her endlessly, and then refused medical help and then stated that choking her to death was a merciful thing.
@user-ke9xd3hg7c If all of that happened then where were her injuries?
He’s super friendly and talkative with the cops in this incident, now that gabby is missing he doesn’t have a word to say... How convenient.

Especially covert narcs. “Am I going to jail? “ after the cops say she may go to jail from attacking him..he asks this. He would not ask if he hadn’t laid hands on her too..he was feeling out what Gabby had told them.
This is exactly my ex husband. So likeable and personable and me coming across as "crazy". Why these officers weren't trained to see those signs is absolutely disgusting. This was me and my abuser. I'm luckily I came out alive. She wasn't the "primary aggressor". He cleverly isn't in distress yet she is. It's insane the officers didn't pick up on this.
Brian was not a likable personality. No one liked him in school. He was overweight in middle school and sat home by himself. He lost weight in HS. Even the cops who stopped him made disparaging statements about him. That duck footed walk is from a person who sits and doesn't exercise.
That one cop who sided with Brian and accused Gaby of being the aggressor has blood on his hands.
@S.C.V. Gabby admitted to hitting Brian first with her own mouth at least twice. Brian made a deal with the police that if he as the victim would spend the night at a motel paid for by the women's shelter Gabby would not be charged with DV and she was free to drive away.
@S R If you don't see the gaslighting they put Gaby through, I can't help you. She's the murder victim here. Brian was clearly the main perpetrator.
@S.C.V. The police can only go on the evidence presented to them and Gabby admitted to hitting him first. Also she refused help and didn't want to be separated from Brian.
It just breaks my heart to see Gabby apologizing profusely and continuing to take the blame trying to take responsibility- this is a key indicator of mental and physical abuse and trauma. Every once in a while you can hear her let something slip, like admitting that Brian was accusing her of being worked up when she said she was perfectly calm. She shouldn’t have to apologize for trying to clean up her workspace. She shouldn’t have to take the blame for Brian’s driving, she shouldn’t have to have died thinking it was all her fault. It can truly be brainwashing to be in a relationship where you are constantly convinced that everything is your fault, and you can see just how traumatized Gabby was from that. Just looking at her body language, how tense and uncomfortable she looked. Clinging to your body like Gabby was doing at first is a very defensive position. Just shows how traumatic the situation was for her.
Watching this footage is eerie especially when you see the footage of Brian. Analyzing him now, he definitely gave off some red flags of being a potential DA suspect. For instance, the way he stepped out of the car and immediately began smiling, laughing, and talking rapidly and excessively. Ab*sers will often do this when trying to cover up their actions, similar to how a toddler will smile and laugh when being punished because they are trying to pretend they didn’t do anything wrong. Not only was he brainwashing Gabby into believing it was all her fault, he did the same for himself. Also, the way he is very quick to blame everything and everyone but himself. The excused and the reasoning he just kept spitting out was hard to watch, just knowing now that everything he said was probably BS. it’s a truly heartbreaking situation, and I feel so sorry for the officers who had to respond to their case. In the moment, they did not have the evidence or motive to take them into custody, the most they could really have done was potentially send in a welfare check later on and give Brian a speeding ticket. Looking back, I’m sure they have a lot of guilt that Gabby would not make it out of this situation alive and they were the only ones who really knew, in the moment, that something was wrong. My heart goes out to everyone gabby loved and everyone who loved Gabby, even over a year later I hope peace is with you knowing Gabby is in a better place ❤
This should be a lesson to all people that watch social media. Not all is as it seems! In all her posts she’s so happy, life is good, but it’s not true on the inside.

The way she keeps saying she's at fault and that "he gets frustrated with me because [insert self-blame here]..." is a clear sign of gaslighting and an abusive relationship. He made her believe that she's not right the way she is. She probably doesn't have any OCD. He just made her believe that her normal sentiments are irrational. Men like that are literal trash and it's always the caring, sweet and unassuming girls that fall victim to that.
Agreed. I was just thinking this girl was acting exactly like someone who gets gaslighted on a daily basis.
Typical abuse victim mental state.

Great observation! I didn’t even pick that up. Thanks for a different perspective ☺️
And then they put him on a hotel but leave her to drive alone and perhaps take a shower like woah that seems very great (sarcasm). So apparently, they didn't saw any psychological abuse going on between them two huh? I have a very rational question: if a cop doesn't feel he has the tools to outline domestic abuse, can he make a call to a psychologist or social worker in the station to do a checkup before leaving them to "reunite"? or they(cops) just go along with whatever they think it is? Because it that case it's basically like taking a car to different shops and different mechanics saying it has this or that... I mean, how would the cop safe a life here?
Narcissistic abuse can end in murder. What a horrible tragedy.
This is devastating and haunting to watch. It was so clear that he was abusing her. She did not get the help she desperately needed. To see how close she came to getting out is the most heartbreaking aspect of this. I'm so sorry for her and the brutality she suffered.
Are you aware that the police were investigated by an outside reviewer called in by the police chief?
Are you aware that the police were reprimanded for failing to do their correct duty?
Are you aware that they were told that they should have arrested someone and charged someone with the crime of abuse?
Are you aware that the person that they were told they should have arrested was Gabby and NOT Brian? She should have been charged with abuse because she was engaging in abuse.
No matter how clear you think it is that he is abusing her, objective highly educated reviewers say you are wrong.
It wasn't clear at all. You're only saying that with the benefit of hindsight. I really hope you never serve on a jury. It's so annoying the way women think only with emotion rather than with logic and reason.

It's not the police officers fault. He did what he could do. She didn't show any signs of being hit. She didn't admit that she had been hit by Brian. Scared victims obviously don't do that. And they'd rather go to jail then admit that they've been beaten by their spouse or significant other. Brian was so good at using his court face that they thought it best to not put either them through the trauma of a court fine and the likes and gave them the option to separate for the evening. To me they obviously didn't and to me Brian killed her that evening and drove around until he found a good place to dump the body which was the Grand Tetons.

I think she DID leave him. Broke off their engagement. It is now looking as though she hadn't even enough "adventure" in her spirit to DRIVE HER OWN VAN. He couldnt financially support this. I'm thinking he was really the "driver"/ex boyfriend and she was not really financially capable of supporting her own venture. It takes more than buying a van and pretty clothes. She did talk to the park ranger and the park ranger told gabby she needs to reevaluate her relationship with Brian.
It's very odd he's smiling and chatty and she is literally in tears the whole way through. RIP Gabby.
Sure, but also hindsight is 20/20. People react to trauma and stress in very different ways. It could be that in another situation, the person smiling and laughing is actually the abused one and the one crying is the abuser. Psychology is weird.

I am sure surprised but their stories match 100%. She says she is OCD and has mental problems and was hitting him. He says she is violent sometimes and was striking him while driving. it's not odd. just obvious signs of abusive relationship and psychopath behaviour. the police just made friends with a killer. i hope they enjoyed.
As someone with OCD and mental problems, I’ve had this exact scenario play out with former boyfriends. Most of the fault did lie with me, because my issues made it impossible to give my partner the space he needed. I don’t think there’s anything from this that could have predicted a murder.
Let me just take a moment to appreciate the fact that I'm single.

The first thing he says to the officer when he goes back to the vehicle was "Did you already talk to Gabby?" Then he was giving them reasons for why he pushed her before they even asked. The officer even commented on his demeanor and then commiserated with him when he said it was because of the police lights. This whole situation probably emboldened him.
This is what Brian said when the officer walked to the driver's side window:
"I I I (just) don't want to defend myself here by saying anything but I pushed her away. She gets really worked up and when she does she swings and she had her cell phone in her hand so I was trying to push her away."

Did Gabby ever say she was sorry that she slugged and hit Brian in the face and head?
This is from the police records. Brian had the most injuries
"On Gabby, there was a mark pointed out on her left arm as well as a scratch on her left cheek. On Brian, injuries were pointed out by Park Ranger Ryan Kral near his right eye, left side of his neck, left side of his nose, center of his face, bruise and bleeding on the right side of his head, and a red mark near his right bicep/tricep area."

The officers here seem to completely forget or disregard what the witness who reported it to them said, they clearly said he slapped her and was attacking her. They should've focused on that because the eyewitness is probably the most honest in this situation.
This story is a great example that nothing is what it seems.
Bruh, I doesn't even seem that way anyways. If she was the abuser, why would she be crying and him be smiling and laughing? Even if he is scratched up, that was self-defense, most likely from trying to get him off of her.

How is it possible that they didn't find it strange that he was super calm and laughing and Gabby was crying and stressed???? Aren't they supposed to be trained to understand when there is domestic violence?
Police need to be trained in how to recognize signs of severe emotional abuse. This is what I saw immediately in the shorter version. It was obvious to me she was under severe emotional abuse. Some of the signs are intense apologizing, taking responsibility for the other person’s actions, etc.
I saw myself in her and that's how I knew she was in an abusive relationship with a narc and was not the abuser but a victim emotionally beaten down in non stop reactive abuse(look up the term, its a classic tactic of narcs), abusers NEVER admit to ANYONE, most especially cops, that they were at fault and they don't nervously over apoligize for everything on the spot
But what good does that do if the constitution protects both of them from being detained by the police? This is why Brian and his family were able to elude the police for so long because the cops have nothing to charge them with.
Men are not very emotional! They view women as very emotional! It’s hard for them to relate to it and often times they become very defensive! They react physically with dominance which only escalates a woman’s emotional distress & reactions!

Gabby called her mother from the backseat of the police cruiser. These statements are from the Petito v Moab lawsuit.
3. Gabby contacted her family to tell them that the couple had been fighting, that Brian had hit her, and that the police had been called. The family immediately responded by beginning to arrange
for Gabby to fly home and to have her van shipped home, to separate her from Brian.
98. Gabby then called her parents.
99. On that call, Gabby’s parents demanded that Gabby fly home to get away from Brian, offering to pay for her ride to Salt Lake City and her flight home. But upon learning that the police were involved, Gabby’s parents accepted Gabby’s assurances that she should continue her trip. Gabby’s parents relied to their detriment on the police officers involved to evaluate the situation and intervene as necessary to protect Gabby. But for the officers’ failure to investigate and follow Utah law, Gabby’s parents would have intervened to end the trip and bring Gabby home.
A couple things still just really get me after all this time; when the officer tells Brian that he’s the “victim” and he laughs. Like he can’t even believe it himself. That’s so wild. Also in the beginning when the officer tells him to put his keys on the dash and he’s all yeah buddy! Oh so sorry I was speeding and hit the curb it’s gabby’s fault. He laughs and jokes and fist bumps multiple times during this situation while gabby is bawling & obviously very upset, he doesn’t believe in her and her “little blog/website” & I 100 percent believe he tried to leave her in Moab and take the van bc she wasn’t done working on her dream, when Brian wants to go hiking , we go hiking. Gawd he’s so predictable & annoying! Can you imagine hiking in bare feet and then laying in a clean bed?! I’m sure that made her OCD over the top that’s so gross! And it’s not like she can just wash the bedding. Brian’s gross dirty feet and his bald head make me feel sick. I can see right through him. Poor gabby. 😢
This is one of the best explanations I’ve seen in these comments. You just know this is exactly what happened.

The victim is very talkative and overly talking about everything, if he was concerned for an ocd girlfriend he would have just talked about her flipping out but been concerned about the mental state she's in at this moment, not making all this small talk trying to make officers happy with the type of person he is - he was selling himself.
Gabby was talking to her parents during the Moab stop. They offered her a plane ride home and she refused their offer.
Send prayers. None of that other stuff can be sent. Pray to Jesus to help the family through this. In life prayers are all that matter. Don’t be programmed into believing any of those other things matter. Seek Jesus always.
He said "i hope she doesnt have too many complaints about me".....He was trying to find out what/how much she had said to the Cops...Damn!
Good catch! I missed that.
Just like he immediately started to defend himself for why he had been pushing her even though Gabby never said anything to the cop about it. He automatically assumed she ratted him out and went into defense mode.
You know these officers feel terrible because they were probably the last people besides Brian to see and speak to Gabby
I know, I feel the same way, these officers probably feel devastated and confused. I wonder what they think about this case now. In their professional opinions.
@@PaulineRaabe_ Yup, Gabby's prolly getting rammed profusely as we speak, & theres nothing we can do about it.
@@johnfranks9389 what kind of comment is that? I suggest you rethink it.
@@johnfranks9389 wow what a sick comment.
@@that11gmc36 that was a terrible terrible thing for him to say 😐
The poor girl is crying bc shes knows the truth: she's the victim, she's defending him and downplaying his abuse, and yet she's the one getting in trouble for it.
Also, they didn't press chages b/c she's a woman. If they knew brian was the abuser and Gabbie was the victim, they would have arrested his ass!
This makes me sad I wish there was something that could have been done. My heart breaks for the family RIP
Why didn't they ask for the vehicle registration to show this van is hers and he shouldn't be locking her out of it
They don't need it they can call in the plates!
@@e.t.ethics1771 they obviously haven't been drinking dude. Its obvious.
Actually at this point since Brian had been living out of it for months with gabby so it could technically be called his residence as well.
Because its all staged.
@@goosebumps2555 why do you say that? Interesting
And this is another lesson about influencers lives, sharing all these nice pics and you don't have the slightest clue what kind of crazy stuff is going on in the background.
They tend to show they have a perfect life but behind the scenes everyone has problems but they don’t show that
Usually the more staged pics the more phony the life
@@umbrammortis9479 you sound like a hater damn lol
That's why I am not on Instagram/TikTok... Full of shallow, narcissistic and pretentious people.
@@marianocardenas3440 lol, not a hater, just a realist. My old neighbors have a wonderful account with great pictures, but every so often the cops took one of them out of the house, and I did have a cop ask if he could bring his dog into my yard to look for the husband.
This is a perfect example of how someone can be toxic to themselves by choosing to spend time with and invest time to the wrong company.
This is so heartbreaking to watch.
DID ANY ONE notice how much he was laughing as she was crying the entire time. There is something wrong with him at this point.
Hes laughs because hes thinking these guys believe me....a fricken psycho
The police should have picked up on that . He was acting so relieved , showed no concern about her being distressed .
He was laughing because he’s heard her tantrums so many times it doesn’t phase him anymore.
@@cindymiller2748 tantrums? the girl just got slapped around! A tantrum to me is when you dont get your way....and you pout like a bad child screaming on the floor in a store. I hope you didn't mean that.
@@cindymiller2748 probably relieved to have 5 minutes without an unstable person all up in your face nagging all the time. I bet he felt extremely relieved!! And finally somone who understands what I been putting up with! She's crazy. Even I can see that. She needs chemical help.
The ‘he doesn’t really believe that I can do any of it’ tells us a lot about the way he must have treated her and made her feel like she wasn’t capable. I hope she’s at peace now :(
One of the characteristic of narcissism is the excessive jealousy they feel toward others. Narcissist can't tolerate anyone else's good fortune. He is going to hate you for it. He always believed it should be him instead of you. Narcissists think your success might make them look BAD. They may retaliate by raging at you or demeaning you with nasty remarks.

I agree, he was too old for her& too skinny. Wish she would have let he police take her from him.
