You can use the Verdance trigger on the first Rampant; just not the second. The life resolves first which gives you the Verdance trigger before the Amp happens
Got two ways I look at doing the combo either harvest season and fertile ground to get a big amp or run the count the blessing line for big heals and bigger amp
Can't you choose to use Verdance's ability for 1 extra damage the first time Life resolves (@4:13)? No Rampant Growth has resolved yet so no amp will be used up, right? After using Plume and playing Rampant Growth // Life for the second time you indeed should not use Verdance's ability
I thought this was the case but experienced on Talishar that didn't let me do this, so just to be safe I said not to activate Verdance. Thanks for clearing this up!
So, this 5 card hand is incredibly inefficient. You want to be able to do this on a 4 card turn. If you insist on using Forked Lightning, then include an E-Pot for the setup. Otherwise you can do this with a 0 or 1 cost arcane spell, Rampant Growth, and 2 blues, leaving you 1 additional card to block the turn before you 'go off'.
If your opponent is low enough or isn't presenting much ab, then yes this would work but if you need to deal over 36 points of damage through ab 2-3 then forked lightning gives you the reach
I know we all love theory crafting the perfect set up, but im sorry you will never grt all 3 healing potions on the field and then find the perfect hand. You will be dead long before
Definitely depends on the matchup, but you'd be surprised. We have a video facing an Aurora deck and was able to have the set up and reach our pitch stack.
You can just make sure you are down at least 8 life, its not impossible. The combo does 40 damage even through AB 3, so just don't get them low, play a really defensive game, and get out your potions.

Thank you for the clarification!
It’s a may for the damage trigger you do both and pass on the ping from her ability
Loving the use of an Empire of the Sun song in this video
Got that Mac Miller vibing in the background. Lots of respect. Also, nice video!

Also forked lightning only gets the buff on one side of the forked lightning. Amp does not apply to both sides of forked lightning
@@DeltatheColonel Ahhh, but Surgent does.

The new best wizard! Killed by one single card... the one and only reaping blade

Thia has already been tested and failed, as it is not consistent and reliable enough.
