What people don't seem to understand about Miami football compared to Texas and California is that these teams in Miami literally are neighborhood and are top in the nation, they are literally beating themselves up. When you talk about Materi Dei or St. John Bosco, they literally play on a national schedule but would dominate their surrounding areas(lack of talent and recruitment).(Texas to an extent have some of what Miami has in terms of neighborhood kids growing up playing AAU), but there isn't neighborhood competition in California high school teams that are competing with Mater and Bosco. Like let some of these public california high school team play the likes of booker t washington, columbus, miami central, northwestern, chaminade, american heritage, st. thomas aquinas. You name me materi dei and bosco, what else? IMG doesn't even do justice in florida, they dont rep miami.
Centennial, long beach poly, serra, los alamitos, mission viejo? LOL stop playing. Those teams would not last playing a full schedule in Miami. And IMG doesn't need to go out of state to play comp, IMG should just have a bunch of Miami teams schedule to play them.
Why do californians bring up Mater dei and st. john bosco, Florida people are not boasting anything from IMG at all, those 3 teams are literally in the same boat. I got respect for Texans boasting about duncanville, but there's nothing to boast about IMG, SJB, and MD repping your state at all.
Long Beach Poly and Inglewood are CA public school teams that could go head to head with any of your Miami teams. Narbonne, which is in the LA City section used to be pretty badass, but I don't know where they are now, but they produce D1 players. Inglewood's a relative newcomer to the Southern California elites. They got hammered by Alemany in the CIF Southern Section playoffs last year, but they're showing vast improvement this year. Poly is looking better than they have in recent years. Don't laugh them off. BTW, Serra's a Catholic school, so you shouldn't count it. Cen10 folded to Mater Dei like a paper napkin, so I don't give them much hope against Miami's best. This is not one of their better years.

Florida football, especially southern FL got the best talent in the nation. Yeah I know Mater Dei and SJ Bosco might be the best teams but talent wise FL got the most in the country. Even states like Georgia and Texas got more talent on a per capita basis than Cali. Not to knock Cali football, they got lots of talent but they also got 40 million people to draw from. FL got the most NFL players in the country.
@@bryanreese4231 Well of course. A lot of states produce great talent. But there are states that produce much more than others. Not sure where PA ranks but I do know states like FL and Georgia produce the most on a per capita basis. There are various rankings for this anyone can look up. @@pikahut9140 That argument is moot, as you can say that about most other states too. Besides, I'm talking FOOTBALL.
