Enescu is the greatest classical composer of the 20th century. Most talented and beautiful of them all. Most complete as a person. Most progressive in both moral and aesthetics. The only real successor of Beethoven. Violinist and pianist per excellence. Virtuoso orchestrator of details beyond compare. Compositions that sound like improvised breaths are just one of his trademarks. His sincerity is utmost not only for his time. That is who he is. The truth. Finally. Someone awakened and not telling you to believe in his own dreams but someone who welcomes you to his reality which happens while you are busy making other plans. Enescu is an unparalleled musician and the greatest secret from Romania. Thank you for this masterpiece. Musical dissonance is happening only to a person who is musical in consonance as well. This is a real proof. Not from this world music, definitely...

There are many sides to Enescu's music. If I've genuinely awakened an interest in his music I must say I'm quite pleased - one good deed for me today...

An erie piece, but very effective. This is certainly a different side of Enescu. Now I'll have to investigate him further. Thanks!
