LOL parked at that distance is insane. when i throw it 400 feet i dont even care if i go out of bounds,) These challenges between the pros are so fun to watch.
That ace was so sick!!! I feel so happy for that kid.. I would lose it like he did too lol I like the that you put those clips at the end of your videos now.
I watched someone in another group ace one the other day. Never done it myself, but it's awesome to watch. I didn't actually see him ace. I heard the chains and the shouting, saw the disc in the basket and the thrower on the tee.
@@marshallpeters7174 it's wild to me to hear people have never got an ace. I guess I'm lucky. I got one two weeks ago and one in back to back rounds in march
WOW. Simon you are insane. I went out the other day and was just practicing throwing long, and was just happy to get shots thrown like 400.... but all my discs were like a hundred feet apart in terms of precision.
Drew and GG have a chance just because ease of long distance shots, Eagle too. But don’t know if they have the touch Simon does at 400 ft. Would love to see
They also skipped over a lot of his shots from further away, and only showed the close ones (or ones that made it), whereas from closer, they showed just about every one.
love these challenges but you gotta measure better! You step it out and end up SO much further! Your Hour Putter Challenge was probably more like 200'!
I've used my range finder to double check udisc, and one time udisc was acurate. The next time it was showing 70 ft longer than the actual distance ( in the same field ). Might be how many satellites it picks up. The day it was off, I had set up orange cones starting at 200 then every 50 ft to 500 because my son that got me playing was in town for a few days. He can throw 450 and I throw about 270-300. I'm 64 and have knee problems so that's as good as it gets for me. Anyway we weren't getting close to our usual distance so I used the range finder and udisc was way off that day.
Measuring wheels are only really accurate on smooth surfaces. They will probably give you inflated sense of distance if used on bumpy lawns. Bringing a laser range finder and some reflective targets would be the way to do it, without shelling big bucks for a total station.
Consumer GPS is limited to an accuracy of about 12ft. UDisc usually says +/-14ft on my phone. That error range applies to both the start and end point, so it's overall accuracy when measuring is about +/- 30'. Which means that you can't use it to correct a 20' measuring error. That is well within the margin for error. On flat ground like this, measuring wheel is the way to go. Cheap, easy, and accurate. Much more accurate than UDisc.
Which basket are you guys talking about that's better to get. I been trying to figure out which basket under $150 to get. Was leaning toward axiom lite. Also found a hive 24 under $100. Any thoughts or recommendations?
Simon, try a trundle wheel. $75 should get you a nice flat rubber wheel with a digital readout. As precise as you can get, way better (and more accurate) than GPS.
Hey, Simon! Up to a "Welcome To Finland (WTF) -challenge"? The rules are quite simple: first, you need a basket placed in the woods. Place a marker straight behind a big tree so that you cannot see the pin, and you need an awkward stance to succesfully make a putt. Your goal is to make 5 putts in one minute. Try different distances, and see how far you can make it! (Obviously a challenge is also finding a good tree and a decent spot for making a putt). Good luck! :)
Everyone should really be doing this challenge for practice, with or without the timer. Reminds me of when I train for pitching. I start around 100ft and move 20-30 feet until hitting 400ft. It's the perfect thing to help with mechanics and building power progressively.
Dude, you throw a ball 400 feet? thats insane. I can throw a disc 400 feet and hit a golf ball 820 feet (carry) I have never thrown a baseball before, but i doubt i would get past 200 feet. Kudos and greeting from Norway;)
@@mortenlothe6893 Thanks! I live in FL, so baseball is like a religion down here. I build my arm up to throw that far for like a month before I can do it. I stopped really playing baseball in May of last year when my friend got me hooked on disc golf. I used the same techniques I used to learn to throw a ball 400 ft. This park challenge is pretty much how I developed my baseball throw since I never had anyone to throw with....same with Disc golf. Right now my max backhand measurement is 465ft and my forehand is 437ft. I'm enjoying this game a lot more since I get to play it every day and not feel like I was hit by a train the day after. Plus it's an awesome community.
@@anthony452 Awesome. 437 feet forehand is beastly. you definitely have an advantage by being an ex base ball player. And yes the community is very laid back and down to earth. good luck in the future with your game;)
@@anthony452 I just looked it up out of curiosity, and the world record distance for a baseball throw is 445ft. So you're a monster thrower. I was a tennis player and ultimate player, have only got to around 400ft but only been playing causally for a couple of months.
Thanks for keeping us in content guys. Make sure Casey knows we love him too.
Thanks! 😅
Classic Simon. 7 tries to park a dinky 200 footer but a 400 foot park job? First try.
Ausman Bossman Toro easy. He should put at 100feet ;)
You're surprised? I'm surprised he didn't park at 500 ft first try.
He probably was using up his cheap Chinese discs from China on the short distances and saving his better ones for the longer ones.
It wasen't first try doh xD I don't think he made 1 throw in 1,5 min
LOL parked at that distance is insane. when i throw it 400 feet i dont even care if i go out of bounds,) These challenges between the pros are so fun to watch.
I don't think I've ever thrown one 400 feet.
Casey's commentary is really coming together, great job!
(Simon did a decent job too .)

Unreal. I know Casey can crush and to have his perspective at the end with his throw coming up short was perfect. Well done Simon.
*OMG!! Sam!!* Lol, I love that video clip.
Great one!
Given your "know your distances" video, this 20 feet you were off here seems like precise :P
Awesome video. Always enjoy watching. White throws one "That's really long" haha too funny.
Casey is slowly becoming a youtube personality in front of our eyes!
WOW. Simon you are insane. I went out the other day and was just practicing throwing long, and was just happy to get shots thrown like 400.... but all my discs were like a hundred feet apart in terms of precision.
so cool to see 2 homies supporting eachother like that
Gotta love the ace at the end. That's what keeps me coming back. I could practice putting and score better, but it's just too fun to go ace hunting
Absolutely love these videos!! My son and I watch these together, and we're always pumped for a new episode. Thanks for sharing your awesomeness!
OK, after watching this I don't feel so bad about my 425' max drives. I really thought Simon would be pushin 600'. Great video guys!
I feel tired watching this but loved it... great work Casey and as always great throwing Simon 🤙🏽🥏
Unbelievable...these challenges demonstrate how great these pros are.
Stay tuned to 12:09 for the Shot of the Day: Samuel "Release the" McCracken. Nails it DEAD CENTER.
Simon, that was awesome to watch! I think this is the best challenge so far! It's way tougher than you think!!
I don't think anyone will beat that one...
I think I can give him a run for his money :)
I think someone (like himself) could beat it if they had someone else retrieve their discs for them. Save time and energy!
Unless it is Paul McBeth. That guy has very high accuracy and he can throw 500 ft or more for sure.
Umesh Chaudhari I don’t think he would do this one. That’s a lot of big shots in a little time, that dudes ankles are easily worth 500k.
Drew and GG have a chance just because ease of long distance shots, Eagle too. But don’t know if they have the touch Simon does at 400 ft. Would love to see
Awesome video, crushed the challenge! Can't wait to see Paul and Eagle tackle it.
That Shot of the Day is CrakaLAKIN!!! Great video Simon, really enjoyed this one (as usual).
The thick grass is Ricky’s video helped him a lot! Even your mid range discs were skipping out of the circle.
Awesome video, and that shot of the day was my favorite so far too!
Keeping up on the every other day 👌🏼👌🏼 you guys should try playing extreme catch, like 700 feet apart with the aerobie
I've just discovered I can throw it 300+ but only because now I'm working on technique rather than power
That shot of the day was so epic lol. I love genuine reactions
Finally I’ve been waiting for this!!
It seemed the shots got better the further he moved? Just getting into the groove, perhaps ...
He seems to hate throwing short. Or is just better with drivers. Or the wind. Who knows.
I think the discs come in more on hyzer when he is further back which makes them stop much quicker. Check at 5:05 for example. :)
They also skipped over a lot of his shots from further away, and only showed the close ones (or ones that made it), whereas from closer, they showed just about every one.
Man its gotta be rough playing with Simon, you lace it 500ft and all you can get is a "good line". lol great video guys
casey's wasn't 500ft.
It was aimed correctly but way too short, "good line" is appropriate and a geniune compliment.
Love the background music on this one!
Simon can't throw under 300 as good as he can throw 400 haha. Amazing job
Simon got better the farther back that he went! Great video!
love these challenges but you gotta measure better! You step it out and end up SO much further! Your Hour Putter Challenge was probably more like 200'!
So freaking awesome. Wow what a rocket! Where do you get the guiding system upgrade lol
Awesome video Simon...it’s amazing to watch you throw
Simon and Casey took social distancing to a whole new level in this video.
Now we know why Simon did so poorly with the "know your distance" game.
Its because he's calibrated to his over sized shoes. 🤣
Loved it.
That was freaking impressive! Nice job Simon!!
Double G used a measuring wheel, and compared it to Udisk. He said Udisc was accurate within 4 feet. I wonder if it differs from different locations?
Probably. Could be the phone used as well.
I've used my range finder to double check udisc, and one time udisc was acurate. The next time it was showing 70 ft longer than the actual distance ( in the same field ). Might be how many satellites it picks up.

Along with Simon Lizotte, my hero is now Samuel McCracken, if even just for the epic enthusiasm!
You are a madman, sir.
This was an automatic like. Way to go Simon!
I love the "Shot of the Day'
Great vid! What's that basket? Want to buy that exact one!
Wow, that was so amazing! Even with the wind ripping. I wish I could park 250 feet.
Wow that would be incredible to be able to throw a disc that far . I feel like a crusher if I hit 400' .
Damn Simon!! That was impressive, gonna be hard to beat
Keep em' coming Simon!
Freeze frame around 3:25 - disc is leaving a contrail. Looks like a smudge or something on the camera but the effect is cool
imagine if Simon got super serious about competition. he'd win everything

Everyday, I seem to get parked at 420.
Lol
Haha.. me too.
Man how do I get simon to come off of one of those md4 crescent falcon 2. Just lost one and I only have one left. Good job simon
Holy Canola Oil!! That’s awesome! 👏
If there is a challenge tailored for Simon, it must be this one. Imagine how far he might have gotten, had the green been less skippy.
Please someone give Simon a tape measure
Simon you need a measuring wheel, get one from amazon, they have some affordable ones. Great video, thanks for the content.
When is Discmania shipping you a proper portable basket?!
I don't think they make one
They make a $75 basket that is about 100x better than that one
We have 2 coming in the mail 👌
Great job
Nice work. I feel like a total chump now...
Brodie should definitely give it a try.
Awesome - I was waiting on this one!
Simon has a harder time hitting 200 then he does 400. Man the consistency on those long shots is next to none!
Great video btw!
Wow Simon so awesome 👏
Thanks! Enjoyed that one.

it's funny that this is basically turf with how skippy it is, but Ricky made the strategic smart move of playing in that good thick stuff.
Simon Subscriber gang yktv! Bless up for keeping the content coming
Do a video at Forbidden Hills in Fall River, MA! I miss home!
Brings 11' rope to draw circle, doesn't bring 20' rope to measure moving back. 😂
Holy heck Simon, get a tape measure and some mini discs so you can pre-designate your throwing distances and you don’t end up off by 100 feet again.
Next time y’all get a chance to play a course y’all should do a round with one disc of each speed in your bag.

Jonni Korhonen and/or Charlotte XD
Need to get Casey on that caddy game!
Great benchmark established!
For everyone asking on JomeZ last night the disc of the day was the triple stamped skygod! (Looked like it anyways lol)
Nice Simon! Now do the 10 ft Challenge, but after every 50ft chug a beer!
Man I wish I could throw 500 feet! Nice video hope you feel good after this, you dug holes with your plant leg that can’t feel good
