Well, I hope Briggs solved the problems they had with previous engine designs when making this as we may find that power equipment manufacturers may quickly switch back to Honda, Kohler or Kawasaki. With all the Briggs and Stratton engines I had over the years the biggest ones were ignition and oil retention problems and also very temperamental with the quality of gasoline. I haven't had as many weird issues that way with its competitors like Kohler, Honda and Tecumseh. I am also not fond that Briggs doesn't manufacture these engines in Japan through the Toyota Group anymore either and is producing them out of the same facilities that make some of the less-desirable consumer and pro-sumer series. I guess there is a reason why Briggs' power equipment companies still use the other brands on their respective machines like Snapper using a Honda GXV160 on its top of the line mower and Billy Goat using Honda, Kohler and others on some of their equipment as well.
Also, what's with all of the vanity plastic? Please make it so you can service it easily when the time comes, and it will, being a Briggs.
