    Acknowledging the courage it takes to be sober, holy shit. And talk about it openly 💕

    Man, Billy is such a good actor, that I now am taking diabetes’s meds and I’m not even a diabetic! Maybe it’s because he looks like
    Mr Belvedere... I don’t know 🤷‍♂️

    "An American guy falls in love with his immigrant Nigerian nurse."
    Subtle.

    • @hensonlaura
      @hensonlaura 3 роки тому +1

      Is that a not so subtly racist comment?
      Young/old, 'working class'/wealthy, black/white, native/immigrant; these contrasts stimulate interest and are a wide pool of topics & situations for storytelling. Add Heart, which Billy excels at portraying, and you have a gratifying back end too. No pun intended : /

    He does all the work, and the wife gets all the credit ? How does that work ?

    • @Superman679

      Are you from an other planet ? In north America, a man has to give his wife total credit or she takes the cash, the car, the Kids and the house.

      He is probably a great guy now, no doubt, but he's also wise to recognize that he has a wife that has stayed with him through his alcohol addiction, poverty, and at the time, to many would be the illusion of been an actor who couldn't provide for his own child; and yet she encouraged him to accept the role that made him famous, AND she is good at budgeting so when he's between jobs they're ok. And that's a smart guy gentleman ;)

    He's too modest. His standup routines are right up with the big boys. But its got to be tough having to develop new material. Its like a musician having to come up with new songs after a hit, a lot of pressure. Pressure that wasn't there when you developed your first material.

    I tuned into this interview in my car about halfway through and thought somehow a based Rich Vos had found his way into the studio.
    Like letting go of his inner bitterness suddenly caused him to lose his speech impediment.
    Luckily it was just this 1920's train conductor lookin ass

      The Mike and Molly thing? I think there's something complicated with it involving contracts and stuff. If there's no guarantee the show will pick up and he choose that project instead of that nickelodeon thing he mentioned that probably doesn't allow other contracts/side projects, then he'd lose guaranteed money.
