The band has five members (all women) and they choose the baby blue eyes flower because it has five petals. So Western fans of the band have learned about the Hitachi Seaside Park. It was interesting to see it in the winter time. The band describe themselves as "地獄のゆるふわバンド".

We don’t have a concept like Jûnishi in the U.S., but we do have Krispy Kreme! My dad used to take us to Krispy Kreme every Saturday, as there was one near our house, and we’d buy a dozen donuts. They were always so fresh and warm. That was one of my favorite childhood memories!

It's amazing to see people of all walks of life celebrating something like Juni-shi. In the U.S. it's a melting pot of humanity. My folks call snake, 'the baby dragon' and rabbit came be exchanged with cat. I loved those floating tulips.
Another fantastic park, I can appreciate how much work goes into making such places. My respect to all the fellow gardeners who make that happen. Sadly, there's nothing like the Chinese new year system here in England, we're much too boring for that, although many people I know are aware of what year they were born in, for me it's the year of the Rat. Thank you for showing us such a beautiful park. I really miss Krispy Kreme. They used to be everywhere in Canada, but now they only have a few locations left in big cities like Toronto and Montreal, so there is no longer any near where I live. But we do have a very large Ferris Wheel near where I live in Niagara Falls though. No option for a glass floor in any of the pods so it's not scary. Really beautiful view of the Falls themselves and Niagara Falls, Ontario and Niagara Falls, New York on the other side of the Niagara River.
