Ever time i hear this song i always think that if someone was dead, in a coma or just a sad person who is dreaming (mostly kids) goes to this place and that every time it says something about every one with a heavy heart leaves it means someone has woken up or was revived
Exactly what i think about when i listen to this too, i imagine it that an angel sings this whenever a child walks through heavens door to this child and shows it a playground with toys stuffed animals and sweets drinks and food as much as it wants with never ending fun and love and all there is full of laughter and happyness

This song just makes me want to cry cause it just brings so many of my childhood memories back to life. I used to imagine that I was alice and I was in wonderland but also knowing it would be impossible for me to experience everything in wonderland just breaks my heart, sometimes I wished that when I die I will see wonderland and know what it feels like to be there and something came up on my mind if alice never left wonderland and decided to stay in there forever she would die in her sleep in the real world cause wonderland was all a dream.
I sometimes wonder what Disney just released a movie that isn't about magical things and powers, what if they just released the reality

This was one of my favourite versions of this song, I love it, thank you for making it it made my day finding it.
I never had any friends when I little (or even now) I was the girl in the corner with the book that no one hung out with. My books were my friends. The characters would play with me and we would go on adventures together. Alice and the people of WonderLand were who I hung out with a lot, I would have imaginary tea parties with and dress in blue and white. Even today I sometimes act like i can see them and drink Tea with them. Thank you for this, it reminds me how much I love my book friends!
