Cody Hall's problems weren't due to ego, he was just kind of a no charisma big guy and got himself canceled for saying dumb stuff.
He just never found himself, never got over, floundered in Japan and eventually worked himself out of the business.

Booker T really isn't a guy you want to have heat with. His opinions matters a lot in the industry and if he's telling WWE "no" when it comes to hiring you, you're likely going to stuck on the indies. Or even worse:

Well Booker T and Zilla had a match on ROW (Reality of Wrestling). So I think it might be OK. ROW (Booker T's promotion) is a dev promotion for WWE, since Booker signed his new deal. I think Zilla is working everything out and I think it's mostly his haters online.

I honestly don’t care what entertainment you’re into, nobody can sit around for 5-6 hours watching anything without fatigue and loss of interest. Only so many hours in a day.

I'm sure Zilla will eventually go to the WWE when they consider him ready, he'll spend some time training at the PC before even debuting on NXT and he'll be on that brand for a while. They'll make sure his attitude doesn't go unchecked and his family will be around to keep an eye on him. Roman, the Usos, Solo, Jacob, Lance, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Hikuleo, Nia Jax, Ava, The Rock himself... there's a lot of people to protect him but also to set him straight. And the WWE is not like the independents, not like ROW, not like anything he's ever experienced. It's the big leagues, they are professional, there are rules and regulations to abide by. Also he won't be a big fish in a small pond, but a small fish in a huge ocean
How disco explains the mix gender matches is how it is with wwe and dom that’s why they give the women who hit him or toss him around are only few moments to a few hits but still at the the end of the day it makes it even more cringy than it has to be. This isn't the first time... When he cancelled another GCW show prior he turned up in the Suite next to me at a SmackDown Show in Sacramento. Not sure if it was just a family homecoming kinda thing for Jacob Fatu since it was his first live show in his town or what, but Zilla was there & he was scheduled for a GCW show that weekend

Never really liked intergender matches unless it was the female wrestler vs. the weaselly heel manager dynamic. That discussion triggered the memory of that match with Brian Cage vs. Tessa Blanchard in TNA a couple years back and how Cage was selling for her. Cage has been dead to me since and it pretty much ruined him almost like Marc Mero getting powerbombed by Sable.
