As each actor is introduced, they briefly act out their role and immediately show that they are true friends with the actor(s) that are in the shot with them especially the counselor. You can tell they care, love and respect each other outside of the script. I love it, their dancing is cute, and they have great personalities. I love this series.

Tommy’s delivery of his lines are always on point. His timing and pacing are impeccable. If any other actor did it with his kind of delivery, i doubt it would come across this well and there’s a good chance it’d be a flop. He’s such a gifted young actor, it’s difficult to find the balance between being unbothered and confident, but without going overboard. His command of his craft is such a pleasure to watch. I’m a new fan and i’m glad he accepted this role and got the opportunity to display his award-winning acting in a BL and we’re gifted with this gem of a show ❤
I swear Tommy Alejandrino (Nikko) is really a great actor. He can portray a feminine character naturally. And the way he delivers his script is flawless. You know what i love about Nikko? He acts so confident and assured of himself but when Eli does smth surprising and sweet that catches him off guard, he becomes all timid. Tommy’s portrayal is *just right* , its not a shy, exaggerated reaction that ordinarily would make u cringe. His reaction just always feels really *real* and *earnest* and i love that!
3:19-3:20 this still lives in my head rent free. its such a negligible, offhand reaction but it makes the scene more authentic. you cant teach delivery like that, these little nuances. ive run out of superlatives to praise Tommy but his performance here is just special ❤ not to take away anything from the rest of the cast, but he is no doubt the standout in this series. it was just a joy and privilege to see him give life to this character and display his award-winning acting in this seemingly small show that really is larger than life at the heart of it all ❤🥺

Special shoutout to Tommy Alejandrino and his nuanced acting. Like in 3:00, we see this all the time: sudden close proximity and instant reaction. His execution of this scene is so pure and understated. Not just this scene but in the other kilig scenes thats required of him as well. It’s so often that scenes like this are done with exaggeration and it registers as unnatural, you know its a scene where they’re acting. But here its done so flawlessly and never seems forced at all.
Cheese on ice cream? That’s a first for me 😅(hearing and seeing it) Eli and Nikko’s chemistry is lit 🔥 and I am here for it…I was always skeptical about Filipino series but this has caught my interest 😍
sorry i keep praising Tommy but i keep on noticing things after every rewatch. the little gestures that he does in a scene are such a nice touch to make these interactions more genuine. simple case in point: while explaining how him and his mom are close, he smoothes over his hair at the back and @8:16-8:17 off-handedly looks over past Eli at smth at the distance, kind of like how i’d imagine a casual conversation like this between new friends would be outside a convenience store, in reality. i feel thats how good acting is done. when it doesnt necessarily follow the script to a T, or if it does, doesnt make it appear to be. it doesnt have to be so polished and straightforward; these simple, barely noticeable gestures makes a lot of difference to make it seem natural and unscripted.
