Great video as usual! Barbados wow looks beautiful there. You even met the deAction Man Brian Talma. He’s famous! I watched his instructional Windsurfing videos many years ago he has a Great sense of humour. Looks like you had a great trip! Thank you for sharing.
hey that was an amazing break down of the islands spots. Bravo ! been looking for just this kinda vid. I was in La Ventana winging and had a blast But because I prefer waves this looks like a better place. How many days of wind did you get and how many knots?
Thanks!! Excellent spot for Waves! I had 4 days of light wind. So went surfing and SUPing. Then 4 days of 15-20 knot winds. Was on a 4M wing with foil. 9M Kite surfboard
Brian is Da Man "Action", surprised you didn't mention Ostins Fish Friday nights (a Barbados Cultural experience). Welches beach is also a great spot for Winging and many of the locals go there. The ZR vans are a great way to get around and you can take your gear for an extra fare ($2.00 US). I will be back there again next week (Forecast 15 kts + for 2 weeks, sometimes you get lucky ;)
Been going for 38 years. Wish foiling had been around back then….Well done video but am torn with letting the word out now… 3:58 How did you get drone shots? Ours is locked out 5km around airport.
@@greatlakeswaterman. I did learn first to foil on windsurfer then switched to wing because I saw how much better it was equipment wise and ease of use. But unfortunately I got ALS in 2020 and am unable to sail anymore. but my sons are getting good at it. I enjoy watching you guys tear it up now, it’s ballet on water, so cool! Still want to know how you got drone shots. We have a DJI air3s and bummed couldn’t use at silver sands.
Ahh sorry to hear that. Life is such a trip. Going through divorce with 2 young kids… Anyways drone. You have to unlock your drone. They send you a code via text and accept all risks. It’s a few extra steps when turning on.
Great question. I was wondering the same when I was there. The wind direction would work with the angle of land. I didn’t see anyone doing any runs. I think u could done though. I was there Solo and didn’t pursue any DW. I would go back and explore that but would want another person. Maybe I’d go solo? This Roy up on the West Coast? I’d be game for giving it a go!?
Sick man! Ya I think that would be good. I used a 4M the entire time. The board I was using was 5’4” 70L. Lift board, more of a traditional wing board shape. I didn’t wear any wetsuit and was no problem. Couple times, I was thinking looking forward to falling so I can cool off.
I was visiting Barbados may be 10 years ago ago , some how I found some sketchy places, was not comfortable to leave wife and kid on beach, how about now ? Did you go alone?

Got to let some discovery happen…. Fish Market is great. Bought 10lbs on fresh Dorado 1st day.

Never too late to try. Efoiling is accessible and easy entry, so much fun too!

Great drone shots! Time to try a insta360 ? 👍👌
Ya I need one of those
Are there any downwind supfoil possibilities there? Local downwinders to go on a run with?

booked my trip for Feb 20th for a week. do you think I can get away with a 3m and a 4m on a midlenght board? also do I need a shorty wetsuit?

The fruit looks like dunks (indian jujube fruit) which only fruits at this time of year
Dunks rings a bell. Thanks for solving my puzzle

Do u remember what beaches u went too? Maybe some on the East side. All the ones on the West are pretty touristy and safe.
@ not really but back than was very poor , and not windy😁
