We harvested (7) 60’ rows with this plow in 2021. By estimation I would say we averaged 70 - 80 lbs yield per row. Wheel extensions were installed but in the end no weights were added. I could not be happier with this plow.
Heloo pipl .У нас в Украине много китайских мотоблоков дизельных,а у вас бензиновый.Мотоблок ето спорт.
to make your own wheel weights, take a round bucket, determine the center, insert a square tube that fits over the tube of the tractor weels , make a hole in the bottom so that it protrudes underneath., drill a hole in the tube and in both sides of the bucket. and insert a hollow round tube into the both sides of the bucke tru the square tube and fill your bucket with cement until it reaches the weight you want. let the cement harden cut a bucket around it of and then shorten the round tube and you have a wheel weight
In Russia, such a walk-behind tractor will be expensive. You have a good potato crop. 👍👍
Great job. Love Italian two wheel walking tractor.
hi there .
I subbed because my friend who has past experience with tractors like yours had gotten back into farming and is happy that he was able to buy a tractor recently for an incredible price .
This is all new to me .
Quite an eye opener to see what is out there .
So now I'm playing catch up .
What I am trying to figure out is which manufacture to go to .
Grillo or BCS .
I realize that there are so many implements similar to the skid steer world .
I don't have enough knowledge or experience in farming ,so what I'm doing now is researching on site preparations going from flat ground conditions with grass/weeds ,to growing beds for potatoes, beans, peas, garlic, onions, carrots, broccoli ,leak. So it's a learning curve...
Just need to decide which way to turn.
But thanks for posting this video.
Best wishes to you and your future endeavors. If the area you intend to plow has significant amounts of roots and rocks I would encourage you to employ someone with a much larger conventional tractor to do your initial plowing. From there forward hopefully you can manage with a walking tractor like mine.
Do you leave the 2 bolts from the tool bar loose so the plow sways side to side?
Yes we leave some play in it in case you hit a rock or something else in the soil. That little bit of play will also help you make corrections in steering while you are plowing.
Why don't you ridge up your spuds? That would work easier I think.
These had been ridged up but the ridges were not that tall. We now have a 3 point hiller and all hilling is done by tractor.
Jump to 4:40 to see the tractor plowing.
You mention wheel weights. One option we use on farm tractor tires is put the tire valve at the top and fill with windshield washer fluid then put the air valve back in the stem and add air pressure. Your tires it would be like adding a couple of five gallon buckets of water on each side and likely most of the weight you need.
Great job on video love Nolan’s intro.
Seriously.... buy a tractor. It will do EVERYTHING FOR YOU
I now have both 👍🏻
I like your machine, seems to work ok. I find the big problem with walking tractors is weight. They don't have enough..
You probably could use 300lbs on that machine yet.
Thanks for watching. Yes, weight can be an issue especially in heavy clay or Rocky soils. There is a limit to the amount of weight that you can hang off of each side. I am slowly learning the good and best uses of this walking tractor. So far rototilling and flail mowing are high on my list.
Thanks for the video, very helpful, I have the diesel 131, in Australia.
Hello to our friends in Australia 🇦🇺. Does your diesel 131 have quick connect or do you have to bolt the implements on?
@@hendonfarm1015 Hello, you have to bolt on attachments, it has 22mm nuts so it is very heavy duty. I have the Grillo toolbar but haven’t bought the potato lifter yet, only the plough. I have the larger wheels and wheel extensions. I also have Joel’s wheel extenders like yours but haven’t fitted them yet. My 131 is the diesel 2010 model before the new clutch system. I prefer that as that new system was introduced because of EU safety standards. I have the trailer and in transport gear, it flys! It spends most of its time with the larger wheels, extenders and the trailer, but I have the 800mm tiller, Berta rotary plough, Berta flail mower & the Grillo badged R2 Rinaldo Power Harrow. The rotary plough is the Grillo supplied one with the extra weights and 131 mount, same with the flail. My tractor and mower are JD 👍
Sweet. Sounds like you are well equipped my friend.
@@hendonfarm1015 Had the gear from new, before that I had a Valpadana VMC150, with a number of implements but was rope start, getting too old for that! Love my Grillo and John Deere of course!
Гарний мотоблок
hello young boy !
Cast iron brake discs are free/cheap weights
We found 2 old 25lb olympic weights that fit perfectly over the ends. We keep them on there all the time now.
HI THERE US CHECHNYA
Hello. Surprised you're here watching a Grillo video. From what we've seen on the news, Chechnya is awash in new Deere tractors?
