I always tell myself my journal is a tool just like my tarot decks so i dont get caught up in all the negative thoughts when mine don't look like everyone else's. Your journal is perfectly yours.

I highly recommend Tombow Dual Brush pens for MD paper. There's a bit of ghosting, but no bleed through. Pigma Microns also work well if you want a finer line. MD paper is pretty forgiving. Honestly, there isn't much that Sharpie won't bleed through on.

Yes! I've seen the Tombows be used in videos and really liked how they looked! I think the Micron is what I used to have but I had a .3 I think? And because I have a heavy hand and pretty staccato penmanship it didn't write well for me at all. I'm thinking I should get a bigger tip? I'm a total novice so if that makes no sense pay me no mind haha

Looking forward to your Venus project. I love the Christian Lacroix notebook for Venus. The scallop shell reminds me of Botticelli’s Birth of Venus. I also think of the seventh sefirot, Netzach corresponding to Venus as very watery. Just sayin’. You do you, as always!
Out of all my current notebook I could see myself using that one for Venus the most! But I think I'm going to save it for something else and get a new one

I am so excited to see what you do with your new Travelers Notebook! I don't have one but I've also fallen down that particular rabbit hole - my Instagram started out as a planner (Happy Planner) account and has morphed into a tarot one with planner stuff interspersed 😊 So I'm loving this content!
30:02 try skinny washi tape! I use it to block off dates in my journal and love it because it doesn't bleed (obviously) and I can move it if needed 😊
32:08 ☠️😄💔 I don't have experience with this paper but I've found that, surprisingly, Crayola markers don't bleed much (plus the fat markers we used to have as kids are fun to use for bold lines and titles)! Mild Liners are also favorable and come in amazing colors.
