Ok, Ok. So, a bs 180 with a pop shove it. These guys catch the pop shove it in mid air then complete the other 180 rotation with the bs 180!! This is why if you just focus on the board it appears to do a 360 but it still feels like a pop shove it.
The problem most people have learning this trick is they think of it as s 360 pop shuv with a bs 180. When it's really just a pop shuv it with a bs 180. When you think of it like that it becomes a lot easier. Majority of skate tricks you have to be able to properly picture it in your mind first

i’ve skated for 12 years and never understood this trick until this vid. It still doesn’t make complete sense to me because the board and body are both doing a 180 so I feel like it should just be a 180 with you hovering over the board but I understand that the board spin and body spin are offset so they catch at different times it just still doesn’t make sense in practice
+Jay Young this trick can be done two different ways, either an early catch, where the skater does a high pop shuv then when he is coming back down he does a bs 180 (e.g 1:04 ). Or a 3 shuv with a bs body varial (the skater spins a 360 pop shuv and spins his body bs 180 and the skater and the board land at the same time (e.g 1:25 ). Either way this trick is done, it is still a backside bigspin.
well i thought it was a 180 with a 360 shuveit, but the red shirt guy does a 180 shuveit, catches the board THEN does the 180. dunno.. seems liek cheating.
i mean it sure does look sick and all, but i think its kinda easier. at least i can imagine it being easier. i can't do the trick either way xD so what am i talking really.

just think about jumping up in the 180 and commit to the rotation. then just scoop a regular shuvit but more forward
