A rigged trial, a dirty judge, no evidence, and the main witness for the prosecution is a sleazy blackmailer with a history of similar behaviour. Also, apart from the fact that her story is full of holes, she _changed_ her story several times.

"His" judge, so that he would have an unfair, unjust advantage, like "his" juror he thought he had on the NY jury that convicted him. May Cannon be removed based on a US statute requirement of clear and plain "impartiality" of judges.
@@JudgeJulieLit Wha are you talking about? There was no hope of Donald Trump getting anything like a fair trial in New York even if the jury _hadn't_ been pre-selected - which it was. Judge Merchan is a man who donated to The Democrat Party and was well known to be anti-Trump.
Do you remember the principle of "a jury of one's peers" or "innocent unless proven guilty?" Trump got none of that in New York.
The verdict was a foregone conclusion; Trump was going to be found guilty regardless of how weak the prosecution was or how strong the defense was.
And he wanted the DC trial to be done in West Virginia.

There was a similar case in Britain against the Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party and a famous novelist, but he was not convicted.
Let's hope he at least gets probation. As for appealing, most legal scholars believe there are no grounds for doing so. If he wins the Presidency, it will be the end of the Republic as it stands. And all of us in the "free" world will suffer.
