- I think it's me who changed the most, as the situation has changed. I'll be sharing the journey to Finland and what i did for DAY 1 in Helsinki, in this video.
I went to Flying Tiger, and saw what they have for Christmas. I could see how Finnish people are REAL for Joulu (Christmas)😂. Then I went to Senaatintori Christmas market, Cafe Engel, Hard Rock cafe Helsinki, and KotKot punavuori. I did lots of things for one day because I couldn't do 'early check-in'.😂 Oops! I had lunch in Lazy Fox. :)

When i remember, feels so distant; chain of memories rush on me a sudden subtle momentary melancholy hits me and then i forget. Strange life it is, a distant past a distant world and strange set of scenario was of finland to me.
If i go there soon, perhaps I will remember, but I dont even know what distant memory I should go after as a nostalgia, no idea really, perhaps the lakes or the sky, a place of view as much as i can see, with endless snow on sight or a tower, well maybe even tallinn. but as time passes the loss of the meaning shall take its place. Jan 4 2016 I moved to there, so it must be winter, yes it should be winter.

It's always so interesting to see how people from other countries see Finland even if they have been here before. To me Finland is Greater Helsinki where I live and the lake district where I visit sometimes. You must visit the lake district which is basically the whole South-East of Finland but visit Saimaa.I know many European countries and even US cities better than the whole of Finland - I've never visited Lapland since I don't like the very cold lol Thanks for this vlog and hope you had great or at least different experiences!❤🇫🇮 (Subscribed 😄)

Great to see you're back in Finland Hansol! Tbh, I chose to start my master's study four months ago at Aalto University after my exchange experience at Tampere in 2016. 6 years have passed and many things changed here in Finland, but I do not regret my decision.

Hope you can suggest more good cafe and restaurants that has reasonably / cheap price but good food please … price for food are crazily expensive nowadays to dine out in Finland nowadays

All the food looks so delicious! One of my cousins used to live in an apartment with an elevator like that in Helsinki, it was really spooky so I always took the stairs. Have you visited any museums in Finland? I really like the Vapriikki and Moomin museums in Tampere. Vapriikki has a permanent exhibition of video games.
A long time ago I used to live in an old building from the 50's, with a tiny elevator and a crazy door contraption like that. I bought a new TV, but it couldn't fit inside the elevator while in its cardboard box, but fortunately after removing the box, it barely fit. Fun times. You get used to such an elevator, but I can't say I'd have missed it when I moved to another building with a big, modern elevator.

Great choice of restaurant. I don't think there is a better chicken burger in Finland or wings and the price is just silly especially for Helsinki.

Crazy one must fly all around Russia now. That's really expensive for the airline, it's like twice longer route. Were the tickets really expensive now?

I do understand if you were student then you didn't have the mentality or even just money to try being tourist. I do recommend if you ever after this trip do want to visit Finland once again try get a companion with you =). Have a nice trip.
