Beach Birds: The Shaman, The Guardian, The Journey

After a car accident leaves a woman with permanent double vision, she embarks on a journey to reconsider the way she sees the world. Inspired by Merce Cunningham's piece Beach Birds, Ivana Larrosa created this dance film to invite her own healing from trauma. Guided by a Shaman and Guardian, this deeply personal exploration is equal parts ballet, ritual, and trance.
