@@CrysDawn it actually doesn't take much in Islam depending on the school of thought one believes in. Many Muslims believe that almost everyone will go to heaven, except the worst of the worst, but many also don't.
All one needs is faith in God but everyone defines that differently. Even if one were to commit the worst sins imaginable but truly repented, by asking God for forgiveness with sincerity, minutes before their death then they would be forgiven for it all and would be rewarded for their good deeds. Problem is, not one of us truly knows when our time in this world will be over so it's important for us to always sincerely ask for forgiveness and to do good.
Alhamdulaallah, Allah (God) is all merciful. As Muslims, we say this many many times a day yet so many forget about that merci. For the most part, many modern Muslims are much more extreme than the Muslims of the past. The prophet, pbuh, even said dont do more than me and you will be safe (paraphrasing here), there are different opinions of what this means but I truly believe he was refering to people like the extremists that we see today so often. I'm not God, so I can't judge but it seems all too common unfortunately.
God help us.
The deeds will determine the level of Jannah. The deeds are going to be weighed. The deeds will determine if we get punished in Akhira and when we enter Jannah. No deed can be a payback to the bounties Allah gives us. We don't ask for Allah's justice, but his rahmah. Allah deserves more than we can give.

Salaam this story makes me so sad for bassisa.He should have married her.Allah save us all from such an absolute heart breaking ending.
This is how Shaitan comes to stray every one of us from the straight path and that's why he's our front-line enemy. The only way to get forged from his attacks is to firmly stick with the teachings of the Quran & sunnah and all of his tricks will be perished with no effect on us. May Allah guide us all to the straight path.

I read another version of the story where after he does haram,He leaves the house and remembers his sin.With every step he takes he made 2 rakat salah.He then found a group of 13 people and joined them secretly.They had ordered 13 breads.He was about to eat the bread intended for the 13th person but instead gave it away.Allah put his 70 years of worship on the scale and his sins with the woman on the other.The sins made the scales heavy but then the deed of him giving the bread back to the person was added and it tipped the scales in his favour.Allah forgave him and with his Rahma he entered Jannah

I heard this one too this is not the same man but a diffrent one who got forgiven [ This man sinned with a women for 3 days and 3 nights and when he realised what he did he ran from the place he lived to another and stayed in the new towns Mosque ]

I think Barsisa started off with the wrong assumption: "Anytime there is a woman and man together, the third is the Devil." We aren't temptresses by nature. God calls people to take care of one another. Hew could have been here benefactor as well as her friend without falling into any sin. Easily. But he started off from the assumption that she would be the one to cause him to stumble. I think he caused himself to stumble by attributing evil power to her.

Preface to this one: I am not a Muslim, and I don't speak Arabic. But I've started listening to the Qur'an in English, and I don't play any side games while I'm listening, and if I go away for a bit, I'll back the recording up by a minute or so just to get my bearings, and if I space out, I'll turn it off, because I want to pay attention. I know it's Sacred Scripture, but I'm also a languages nerd, and if I can treat it JUST for its literary value for a sec, I have to say, it's very nicely written. Like, fluid-sounding. Shirk (association) is the biggest sin, no turning around from that. Had he not prostrated to iblees and accepted his death at the hands of the brothers, he could've still counted on Allah's mercy, the Prophet's intercession, the Qur'an's intercession, his friends' and family's intercession but all that went down the drain when he comitted shirk.
He could've still asked for forgiveness after prostrating to iblees since there's no sin that's bigger than Allah's mercy which is infinite, but i guess he unfortunately died before he could seek forgiveness and died on that major sin.

Am I allowed to say about Satan that I honestly think he acts like a spoiled brat? He was greatly gifted, the most beautiful of the jinn, or so I've heard, and then when God creates Adam (peace be upon him), Satan gets all jealous like, "What, you love him more than me?" It's not exactly a contest. And it WOULDN'T have been a contest if he'd just been cool about it instead of throwing a thousands-year tantrum. I think he's kind of ridiculous. WHICH IS NOT TO SAY that I haven't sinned. God knows I have.

What made me just have a "screw what Allah thinks" view is how picky and strict He is with things. You could do things perfectly for decades and do one screw up that lands you in Jahannam. Does He really choose and want to mess with people like that. The punishment doesn't fit the crime a lot. Like a dictator who rules over his people with an iron fist. Him referring to us as slaves kind of says a lot. Slave that if we step out of line, The master will punish us. Some slaves rebel and push back.

Imaan’s foundation is the truth and the ethics, and it gets strengthened only by truth and ethics by those who swear by it, but not by made up stories, though the messaging is perfect , but not rooted in truth.
Allah doesn’t give anyone any notice in advance or when done , who he is going to send to hell or has already. This type of stories undermine faith and their origin ties them to the entity that’s well known to everyone excelling in it and is the central character in the story responsible for the story to end it the way it has.
