This is super irresponsible.... That access is getting more and more dangerous by the year... You will only be happy when some tourist gets seriously hurt... But its out tourism that will take a hit... You don't care at all because you aren't even local

We are Portuguese, we live in the Algarve, we have been to Praia dos Pinheiros, for about 20 years, and we have never seen, nor did we know, that there had been any accident, either on the descent or on the beach.

Every year, Afonso, arranges the descent in May or June, and it is already possible to descend well, with due care, and with shoes hunting
