After Earl Testifies in court against a robberer after he is assured the man will be put away for 60 years he finds out the man is aquitted ,released and is now looking for Earl.
Lynne Moody & her recent public story brought me to this video. She had a baby at a young age & her daughter was adopted by other parents. Lynne moved on to mature & persue her acting career. Counsidently her daughter grew up watching this show, not realizing she was watching her biological mom on tv.
@@sheritamcclure6087 I loved that guy. It seemed he was in every show I dug at the time. What's Happening !!, That's My Mama, Good Times, The Jeffersons and then some.... I even saw him in M*A*S*H as a chopper pilot. Long live Teddy's memory !! 🚬😎
Ted Lange not only played on That's My Mama, he also played Isaac Washington, the bartender on The Love Boat, the mailman on That's My Mama, his name was Sweet Daddy Williams, he also had those 2, huge thugs as his bodyguards with him. On one episode of Good Times, Sweet Daddy Williams needed a blood transfusion, JJ had Sweet Daddy William's blood type & JJ found out what Sweet Daddy William's real name was on the show, it was Marion. That mailman on That's My Mama also played the ghetto pimp on Good Times & Clifton Davis & Jester Hairston played on Amen, Clifton Davis played the Reverend Reuben Gregory & Jester Hairston played Rolly Forbes as on of the church deacons. Tiffany Deaton

Woooooooooweeeeee!!! Ted Lange's famous line before serving drinks as Isaac on the Love Boat. DeForest Covan was the first Woody on Sanford and Son ( before Raymond Allen) when Donna called Aunt Esther and the sisters three witches.
Go Google Lynne Moody she played Tracy & read about her having to give up her baby. The daughter found Lynne when the daughter was 54 years old. This was her favorite TV show when she was younger. She watched it faithful not knowing she was watching her Mama.
She was the original Jenny Willis on an episode of All in the Family, appeared as a DIFFERENT character in an episode of The Jeffersons, and played George Jefferson's niece in an episode of a sitcom calked E/R.
@@GSU2004 thank you. Even way back then they made great funny shows, very funny and meaningful and true what's going on system. I've came to America 1979. No English but never seen these shows until few years ago on UA-cam.
@@yuegonghuamei6685 You can buy the entire series on DVD now. Someone had uploaded the entire series on UA-cam in 2016. It was only 39 episodes made in two seasons as the series had one full season and one half-season. It was canceled in December 1975. There was an option for a third season if the series did well in that half season but the number were low so it was a done deal.
There's a reason shows like this really last the test of time. You can see black people allowed to be strong in their *soul,* and put together a wonderful group of characters with charm and confidence.
Wow shocking to see Ted Lange who played Issac on the Love Boat so "ghetto" and menacing and "thuggish".On the Love Boat his Issac character was so laid back and non threatening to white audiences."That"s my Mama" was a couple of years before when the political climate was different. Thanks for posting
I’m white and his character was not threatening nor offensive to me. Stop the victim mentality and learn to appreciate the different characteristics of other. We are not all the same, and that’s a gift.

I just read on Google that co-star Moody was able to reunite
with her biological daughter.A heartwarming story.
Me too, that’s what brought me here lol
@@taybyfaith1159 same. I was looking for full shows. The clip looked good.

It is so funny, love the old shows, especially with Clifton Davis starting. He keep the shows clean, not a lot of profanity.
