Wow, this edit ❤ This show is spectacular. I have watched 26 episodes and there's not a single boring moment. Their chemistry is insane. The characters are so good with the FL just as cunning and clever and the ML. Wang Xingyu has my heart. He's such a good actor, much better than those overhyped ones who don't know how to act. I have a feeling that Xingyu is the upcoming big name in Chinese dramaland. He's just so good. And for Wu Jinyan, I'm speechless. She's the best period drama actress for me, and this is coming from someone who has watched tons of chinese period dramas. Best chinese show of 2024 for me.

Drama of the year for me. I am on my 3rd round of watching it. I can't let them go and I haven't felt like this for characters since Love Like the Galaxy and that was phenomenal. This little lady was the star of Yanxi Palace which is the one the brought me to Chinese drama's. She's also in Royal Feast and again it is brilliant.

My theory for future tv series what if jiang li might be xue fangfei twin sister because her uncle say you look like your mother and qiongzhi say but you are not from xue family or they were switched at birth maybe that why her mother hate her daughter for?and xiao/ xue fangfei do make a great couple I'd like to see their biological children and grandchildren later on future tv series ?
I thought about that too she's not from Jiang family but many people said that she looks like Jiang Li's mother it's confusing we just have to wait for the ending only then we can know if she's from the Jiang family or not

My personal recommendations for good chemistry and plot c-dramas would be The Double, albeit its less romance heavy but i LOVE the chemistry in this series, and The Legand of Shen Li. The romance in Shen Li is more emphasized and and both leads match perfectly. I genuinely cannot hype that drama enough. Some of the most fulfilled character roles and romance plotlines. I dont wanna spoil the ending so i wont say if its good or bad, but I think its one of the best endings ive seen in a drama. The chemistry is immediate and grows even more with time. You gotta try Shen Li!! And with The Double, I am currently on ep 22 and not regretting anything. The plot is heavily focused on the female lead but eventually both the FL and ML goals intertwine. I also love The Double for its cinematography. It is some of the best ive ever seen in Chinese dramas. The chemistry is good and you do feel it quite quickly. They arent shy about it either. Genuinely feels like two fully grown and matured adults falling in love while steadily reaching their goals. Unlike the childish acting I often see.
For me their chemistry are VERY good! They don’t have a lot of romance scene but their sensual tension are freaking good. My last cp that make me obsessed was from LBFAD. And now this cp also make me can’t move on. You give them a try. But this drama more to revenge
No, she's not taking revenge on ML or reforming him in this drama. Their relationship was more understanding and less hateful than in Till the End of the Moon
